Yesterday someone I know was telling me to call ManPower because he knew someone who was working there and she was hiring. When I called she told me get there ASAP so she can run my background and have me do the onboarding process to start a job next Monday. Hopefully this comes through, but while I was in the office I heard her say she just picked up 20 something contracts and had to fill a lot of positions. If you're looking for a good paying job she has them. Thanks Job Hunters! Your questions, experiences and comments have kept me encouraged while I searched for work. It took me 2 months to find the perfect spot, or for the perfect spot to find me. I realized that all I needed to be was qualified from their point of view and a good fit for the team. Any other negative thoughts about why you're not hired by a company (i.e. age, race, education, etc.) just dismiss them and keep hunting for a job. You may apply to many jobs, but you only need one. #keepencouraged

I have been going through the process since December 6, 2017. Didn't want to get my hopes up. It's only a temporary position but you know what "it's mine". I plan to do my best keep, my head down, and stay positive. My goal is to become permanent. I like to thank each and every person in the jobcase community who posted positive messages who help to keep me grounded. Special thanks to all who posted jobs they felt I was qualify for thank you. This is my season and I'm going to celebrate and take advantage of it. I've been unemployed since 2016. If you read any of my replies to others, I assured others that GOD had a plan. I thank GOD I had him to lend and depend on. I'll still post! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL.

Good evening all!! On November 15 I was laid off by my employer after 5 months of employment. However, I never doubted that it was all part of God's plan for my life. He closed one door and November 18th, he opened another door. And the door that he opened is my dream job and I am so excited. I will start orientation last Monday, November 20th!! I am here to encourage those of you still searching for employment, please don't give up. I searched for jobs on a daily basis. I found out that I was going to be laid off and began my job search at that moment. I interviewed with 3 different organizations. However, my interview with the 2nd organization is the one that forever changed my life, because I didn't get the position I initially interviewed for. However, because they were impressed with my interview I was referred to apply another position that hadn't been posted yet, if I was interested and I applied for it. Several weeks went by and I never heard anything more about the position. Finally, on Nov. 23, I got the call to come in and interview on Tuesday Nov, 27, Monday, at the same day went to laboratory for a drug test and background check. I am so excited!!! God is so good!! Don't give up but be diligent in your search and that right door will be opened!!

I am deaf and my former job is like 1 hour away from my home. I used live there 10 minutes away to job but I have to move to be with my parents and my husband live with us too for financial situation. So I been transported back and forth for 3 months. My suv start problem and I told my boss that my suv is problem and can’t able to make it. She start angry and keep tell me come to work now. I have no ride, my parent is handicapped and can’t drop me off in morning and pick me up night. My husband work early 1st shift. No way for me to go work and I have to leave job on October 23, 2017. So my suv is in repair but got them back like week later. I am doing online search job for 3 days straight. No luck till next week, i got apply kohl’s, Walmart, Target, Ross any story because I have 2-3 years experience. Bam Kohl’s email me for set up interview. I went interview yesterday, we wrote on paper because we don’t have an interpreter. Awesome, my front desk will email you for job offer, orientation and background check. I was thinking myself “am I hired?” Today I got email to tell me “congrats, you’re hired.” Wow! That’s fast!

I just want to inform individuals that I finally got a job and realized that all I had to do is have faith in myself and with a little prayer to go along with it. Yes I was frustrated but I guess it takes time for a job come through. So people "Have Faith!!!"

I have been in a job search, and I was able to get hired by not just one, but 3 different places! I have decided to work in a place that I have shopped at for years, and they actually pay better than the other two. It's all because I believed I would get a job somehow, some place that I liked. Keep applying, the more you apply, the better your chances.....
