Time of reflection.

As 2024 comes to a close I think is is a good time to reflect on it.

What were the highlights and lowlights of the year for you?

Did you accomplish professionally what you wanted to in 2024? If not, why? What changes do you need to make in 2025 to get there? Maybe you need to add or refresh you skillset.

Whatever you you need to do I would simply encourage you to do so. Don't give up on your goals or dreams. Be persistent. Upskill, re-skill, apply, apply, apply!

Don't get discouraged. Keep at it. You deserve the best so go for it.

Thanks Jobcase for giving our Community this platform.

Writing an Effective Resume Header

• A resume header, containing contact information, is crucial for getting noticed by recruiters; it's the first impression a hiring manager receives.

• Essential elements include your full name (using professional variations if needed), job title, city and state (and 'willing to relocate' if applicable), a dedicated phone number, and a professional email address.

• Include your LinkedIn profile URL and other relevant professional websites like online portfolios or GitHub, but avoid personal social media links.

• To enhance professionalism, use a clear, consistent font, a larger font size for your name, and ensure accurate information; avoid all caps and excessive styling. #AWU #disability #jobs #resume

Have you thought about being a Delivery Driver?

This is not a job offer, it is a way you can make some extra money.

Since the boom of food delivery apps such as DoorDash and Uber Eats, being a delivery driver has become a pretty straightforward way to make money. It’s an attractive gig for many because you can choose your own hours. According to reports, drivers can make from $15 to $20 per hour, depending on the time of day and where they’re working. #AWU #disability #jobs
