Labor Day Weekend is a Special Time of the Year for many reasons. First, it is the end to thr summer. A time to celebrate with family and friends for the hard work we all do. Regardless if you are working a paying job. We all have jobs we sometimes don’t look at as a job. Cleaning your home is a job. Daily tasks are jobs. It is time to celebrate all your accomplishments in life. A time to reflect on how to better yourself in the future. However it is also the start of the holiday season. A time when employees are looking for help. As we know with the pandemic will make this holiday hiring season a challenge? They are still a time when companies are offering positions. Places like Dollar Tree, Dollar General, Walmart, Costco, Home Depot, Lowe’s and many more are offering in the spot interviews. Dunkin Donuts are hosting hiring events. You fill out the application hand it to the front counter and the manager will interview you right there. The question is are you ready to start the process? May your Labor Day Weekend Be Filled with Many Blessings. Please Remember to Stay Safe and Practice Social Distance. Wear Face Mask when around others and have a Safe and Positive Labor Day Weekend! #advice #LaborDay #motivation

Labor Day as we know is a U.S. national holiday held the first Monday in September. For most, it marks the last weekend of summer and the start of the school year, but not many know how it came to be and why.
Back in the late 1800s, the holiday’s founders wanted to do two things: 1- unify union workers and 2- have a reduction in work time. Factory workers at that point were putting in 70 PLUS hard hours at their jobs!!
These long working hours caused many union organizers to focus on winning a shorter eight-hour workday that we typically see today. They also made sure that workers were given more days off, such as the Labor Day holiday, and reduced the workweek.
We don’t know about you, but we can’t imagine working 7 days a week with NO time off!
When would you have moments to spend with your family or catch up on errands or sleep?!
Have you ever worked at a job with very little time off? How did you handle it?
Share your tips with others!

Hope everyone is enjoying a much deserved day off w your loved ones.

Here's to all those who have helped build this great country.
