Good Morning Community,
Last night while scrolling through some of the comments, I couldn’t help but notice the scammers are still trying to scam our community. This is a never ending story of how far they will go to scam people. I replied back to them asking them to stop! Will it work? No, they put so much into it because of the results. If only they put the same effort into a job, how blessed they would be? With all the companies hiring, why wouldn’t they want to obtain a real job? The answer is they make to much money scamming people. Until they get caught and arrested. Then the ball game changes. The one thing that puzzled me is the fact that people still fall for it. This is the part that I will never understand it. For Example, Customer Service Reps average $12.00 - $17.00 per hour. Then they see a post offering $30.00 per hour for the same type of work, with a personal email address and they send the information.
Fascinating Scam Statistics and Facts
In the US, one in ten adults will fall victim to a scam or fraud every year. 1.3 million children have their identities stolen every year. You are more likely to become a victim of identity fraud by having your wallet snatched than you are via online fraud. When it comes to victims of doorstep fraud, 85% are over 65. Don’t fall victim to being scammed when looking for work! Once again I am seeing post in the community that are scams. One of them is from Wendy Nicole. The name should be the first Red Flag! Who has two names, one for a last name? This is the first of many flags, 2nd asking you to reply to a gmail or other persons email address is another factor to look out for. Unfortunately, people who are looking for work and are dealing with hard times will apply. They will find themselves in a worse position then they were if they fall victim to it. Please do the research when looking for work. Remember if it sounds to good to be true it is! Don’t fall victim to work related scams #mythoughts

Good Morning Community,
Are we experiencing a Now Society? Lately, I can help but feel everyone expects results right away. As a business owner, I come into contact with several new people per day. One of the things that stands out when talking to them is they want it done Now! Answers Now! This isn’t always the case, we all would like to know I got the job. The job is done. Sometimes it takes time for the results, or the job to be completed. Yesterday, I arrived at the customers home to provide a quote. After I gave the customer the estimate, and they accepted the price, they expected me to do the work that day. I clearly explained that it would be done the following week. She replied, I thought you would start and finish it today? After clearly explaining that I wouldn’t be able to do it until the following week. This was also written into the estimate. Clearly stated in the estimate, and she still wanted it to done today. I explained to the customer, it wasn’t fair to my other appointments. This lady went bonkers over it and was ready to cancel the job. After letting her express herself, we came to the agreement. With that said it had me thinking more about it. Working in the Home Repair Business can be difficult at times. Over the years, I come to learn many people neglect the basic home maintenance. When something goes wrong they panic and go into over drive. Are you doing the same when applying for a job. Are you expecting to be hired on the spot? This can be disappointing, when you are searching for work. You send in your resume, had the interview, and they tell you we will get back to you. A few days go by and you still haven’t heard back. The thoughts start running through your head. I guess I didn’t get the job. They hired someone else. Then you get the call your hired! Do you feel the same way you did when you applied? Do you allow it to affect your performance? Something to think about when applying for the job. Answers do not always get answered right away. With this said are you expecting result today? Hope you have a blessed day! #mythoughts #wisdom
