Avis Budget Group Managers is not a 9-5 position. You are required to work all shifts so if you can only work a specific shift as an Operations Manager you might want to work elsewhere. I worked mornings, splits, overnights and evening shifts. Be prepared to be faced with many challenges but those challenges will help you to become a better manager. Get comfortable shoes you walk and stand for very long periods. Go into the position with fresh eyes, learn as much as you can It will pay off in the long run. Respect your employees and listen to them they know more than you think they do. Always ask questions and leave your ego at the door.
