After being told it might be possible to get on full time. Even though they new it was about to go mail and didn’t tell me. Buying a brand new car so I wouldn’t have a problem doing the management job.

Don't do it, they don't care about you at all and after 15 loyal years of working there for 365 days a year, they fired me with no notice wouldn't even let me finish out the week! And I'm a single mother of 4 with one on the way and they knew it.

East Oregonian is really an easy going job, and it can be a lot of fun. However, if you're looking to be a paper carrier, I'm sorry to inform you that the position is no longer available. All newspapers have been delivered by mail since November 2017 because it's much cheaper and efficient. Otherwise, I definitely encourage you to take a look.

The biggest mistake I've made at the East Oregonian was being late. Your customers want to be able to enjoy their morning coffee with a morning paper, and you're responsible for that. If you're thinking it's not a big deal and you can get away with just a couple late papers, you're wrong. There are customers that will call the company, and your manager will know. Don't make petty mistakes.
