I'm 5 months pregnant and not sure how to replace my income while going back to being a full-time mom. Any good resources/ideas out there for working from home part time?

Got this job here in a small town, which is not the problem. But during my training the lady that hired me said she was scheduling all the part time people one day a week. I've never heard of this. I haven't started yet and I can't afford to quit because I have alot going on as far as financially and was lucky that I even got a store job. I am six months pregnant and the job I had before then was Sonic. It was decent money but I'm not able to move as fast in the heat like that. I am hoping she will not give me just one day when i start. I need the money for my family and bills.

I'm a housekeeper at a nice hotel. I am currently pregnant with my first child and I need a better income to be able to get my own place. Cause where I live, my landlord is selling the house the beginning of the month that I give birth. Which yes, that's the month my lease is up, but is only 3 months away. I don't wanna be homeless and give birth. Could someone help me out on what kind of job would be beneficial for me and my baby!?!?

More like a stressful week....our 3rd Gm since i had been working there was fired. We got a temp Gm who was managing two stores...well the manager that got fired didnt have the best choice in shift leaders. The new shift leader decided he wasn't coming in for a week and because the other shift leader was away on vacation for 4days i was the only one that could fill in wasn't enought time to get another shift from another store.....so i worked 7 days straight 6 or more hours the first 5 days and 7plus hours the last 2 days at 6 1/2 months pregnant with a high risk pregnancy. #overstressfull

I was disheartened to read about pregnancy discrimination in this NYT article. Not only is ‘pregnancy discrimination’ morally repugnant, it is also quite financially stupid. Unequivocally, @jobcase, Inc. owes much of our great success to the awesome working-Moms who move us forward every day. If u want your company to succeed- make it an attractive place to work for moms - and of course especially for new Moms when they are navigating the joys and challenges around pregnancy. Have any of you experienced pregnancy discrimination ? How did you react? How do you suggest others to react? #pregnancy #discrimination #culture #mom # DoWhatsRight #success

La verdad si me gustaba el trabajo anterior solo que salí embarazada y ya no pude trabajar pero ahora sí tengo muchas ganas de trabajar y salir adelante

I told my job I couldn’t pick up soemthing because it was to heavy, so they fired me.. I really need a job like ASAP! I’m 6 months pregnant and I just need something! I’m not lazy in my pregnancy. I do a lot of exercise, I’m in shape, and I’m able to do so much still at being 6-7 months. I’ll do babysitting or cleaning/house keeping or even pet sitting. Or if I could be a cashier somewhere would be great too I don’t mind standing my pregnancy isn’t bad. If anybody could help me, please please PLEASE lmk I’m struggling!!!

The hardest thing about this job search is finding legitimate companies that want you to work for them. I feel like I am an employee of value and perhaps employers are intimidated by my loyalty to my company. I am currently out on maternity leave seeking greener pastures, but I am having trouble with employers actually contacting me back to even get in on an interview. I believe in the underdog and someone being able to learn and adapt to a new job. I would just like a chance to meet and prove myself. I can't even get my foot in the door!

How would you handle being asked to fire a pregnant woman, so you would be fully staffed. Not that only, an employee that makes comments on female's anatomy. Take into account I was the Manager there at that time. I know how I handled it. Just want to see if I could have done something differently?

About half way through my school year I got pregnant with my daughter & I already had my son who was 2 years old at the time. I didn't have a car so I had to rely on others for a ride to school. Finding a ride was no problem & nobody minded giving me rides everyday but it really bothered me to have to ask for rides, especially after I got pregnant as I was emotional. Anyway due to being tired all the time, having morning sickness from being pregnant & no car of my own, I decided I was going to quit. So I went into my teacher's office to tell her I was going to quit & to tell my friends bye. After I told her in her little office, which was in the classroom; she stood up from her desk & shut the door. She asked me , "How many times are you going to start over?" I just looked at her quietly. She then told me that she thought I'd regret it & proceeded to tell me how smart & good I was in school. She convinced me to not quit & so I stayed in school. Out of 17 students only 5 graduated with an "Outstanding Achievement Award" & I was one if them. I have been working ever since due to her encouragement. She changed my life & I'll never forget it. I'm very thankful to this day for her.
