I am on probation for a misdemeanor offense that occurred in 2017, I'm looking for a job in a warehouse (not driving any machinery) 5miles near the seatac airport in SeaTac, WA. I got hired for a job working for a local govt agency. The county itself has a 6 month probation period that allows the agency to fire you if they don't think you are a good fit or any other reason without the opportunity for you to appeal. Well in my third month my employer decided to change my training to include more components but they will not start training me for this until after my probationary period should end in April. They say that I am doing a great job but want to reserve the right to replace me until I finish some data entry stuff. I don't find this fair. They already fired one person last week out of the blue. She was trying to appeal. I know for a fact that two positions are probably going to be eliminated due to a conversation I walked in in the break room in December between my bosses. So far they have not reposted the fired employees position. What do you guys think I should do? I know from several people that I am doing a great job. But the documents I signed was worded like they were extending my probationary period due to performance issues. If I didn't sign today I would have been fired . I am a military spouse so my job history is long and the thought of starting another job is not ideal.

This incident just happened on the 26th of November, it seems that I have one co-worker out of the entire department who is using a ploy of having me sent home based solely on the matter that she is frightened of me. I am at working my fingers to the Bone I do not have the luxury of standing around talking the way that she does she is not my supervisor she is an equal subordinate such as myself and I was sent home from work because she is afraid and doesn't want to work with me and anybody out there make me understand I have my work that I need to get done and periodically step in to help my co-workers out which I do but working with me and working together no we work independently of each other and tonight all by themselves without my experience and expertise all because she's afraid of me to speculate I would wager or guess the reason why she's afraid is because she's doing stuff that she ain't supposed to be doing. So this is been the only employer that I have had to contend with they're oddities weirdness it's like being trapped in a psychiatric ward with the insane and I'm the only normal one left.

I am having an issue with finding employment in my desired field, I worked in Law enforcement, and from 2014 to 2017 I worked in a jail, was promoted to supervisor, and was described as a "model officer" and "model employee" and was selected to attend the academy for full LEO certification. My issue is this:

In 2016 I ended up dating and later marrying a girl that was a fellow officer. I was asked about it in a non investigatory setting by a superior. I made a bad judgement call and denied being in that relationship in september of 2016. Then I went to the academy. In late October of 2016 I was formally questioned about it, and was truthful. They said they'd have to see what would happen. All the while new elections for sheriff were taking place, and another officer whom was having a sexual relationship with a trainee (the guy was our training officer) was never questioned nor disciplined, yet everyone knew this to be fact.

December of 2016 rolls around, I am moved shifts, and still kept my rank and title. An internal investigation happens, I call the PBA, and they tell me to comply, so I was truthful. January of 2017 rolls around, election is finalized and new sheriff takes office, I'm sworn in as a LEO for him. Later that month, the investigation is closed on me and the other officer. She is immediately fired because she is on probationary status. I go to a hearing with the chief deputy, tell him about everything, he says he will have to consider everything. About an hour later, the newspaper prints an article saying that I'm to be fired. I call PBA, tell them this, they flip out and send a lawyer from Atlanta to help me.

I meet with the sheriff, I tell him about my situation, and that I made a mistake. My lawyer intervenes and asks where in policy is it that my relationship is detrimental to the office, because the entire thing was about me lying in an investigation, which I didnt lie in an investigation, and my discreet relationship was detrimental to the image of the office, to which the sheriff could explain how it was.

I'm trying to apply to other LEO jobs but I cant find one that'll take me due to the fact that I have a pending POST investigation, even though I've been cleared for employment and training. I need help with this, I'm so lost in what I can or need to do.

So I was off for the weekend and returning to work I was suspended cuz a patient alleged he lost money on the day I was off. I got suspended just because I knew where the patient kept his money!!! Even though the incident happened on my weekend off. I need to concentrate on my blog so I can be my own boss. That's it.

Okay everyone, my name is Ashley and im needing help finding a job. I am on deferred probation and have not been convicted of anything but when they run my background it shows up. Does anyone know a place that will hire me?

I drive a truck for a living.I am not over the road home every day. I received a speeding ticket 7 miles over the limit in June 2015. 2nd ticket in 3 years. I informed my drivers Supervisor of the ticket the same week. His response was its up to you to pay it. Handle it. Since then that supervisor moved up to regional Safety Supervisor. His promotion occurred about 6 months ago. Two weeks ago I was called by my new supervisor and he informed me I was now on probation for that speeding ticket in June of last year. I feel this is not right. Should I be looking for a job elsewhere?
