Unsafe working conditions. The lights went out in a section of the first process cleaning and they were foaming chemical and I was asked several times to finish cleaning the area in the dark with knee deep drains open and exposed without covers. The next incident was a large injection machine was the machine I was assigned to clean. You are required to lock out the machine before removing the belt so your fingers don’t get cut off by it turning on. This machine didn’t even turn off the lock out/ turn off switch for the machine was broken and the supervisors didn’t do anything to fix these unsafe working conditions. When brought to site manager attention he said that the company didn’t care if the lights went out it still had to be finished on time. And the machine being broken for a shrug of the shoulders and a comment of “ that’s the life of a sanitor” I quit the next day. They continue to lose employees because of unsafe conditions and racism. If your American your not moving up to a supervisor or lead. They only seem to promote ones whom can’t speak English.

I felt I was being used for cheap labor.

Working with the other team members that I worked with and that we were all on the same page about safety and we help each other out and help each other out in there area so we can get out at the same time.

It was a great experience well-managed the experience was highly appreciate it
