Content Manager at Jobcase

Hi Jose! I am so sorry things have been difficult for you. Do you have a forwarding address (a new one in CO)? If not yes I would leave the address off your resume and just provide a phone number and email address. You could also include your relocation date in your cover letter, but perhaps the less divulged the better unless asked! Let me know how else I can help.

Thank you so much Ashley. I will follow your advice and put the CO address. Only reason I felt I should put my current address is because some companies pay relocation and I wanted to take advantage of that, but I am seeing no results. So I am going to try this.

I recently left my job at a small college that I was at for 8 1/2 years for a major university. I've only been here a little over a month, since October 14. Recently I've been feeling " homesick" I guess you can say for my old job. I think I feel this way for several reasons: 12 hour days now and having to travel, compared to 8 hours and being close to home. I have kids (12 & 4) . Has anyone ever felt like this? I've had a few friends that left our old job and said the grass isn't always greener on the other side and I feel like I'm starting to feel that way. The job is also completely different. :-/

Any job. I'm desperate. I'm in GA. I just moved here from CO. And wow culture shock no job shock. I feel like I'm stuck in a isolated hot jungle. Not knowing the native language. Anyways I'm willing to take a cashier job like 32 hours a week. I'm reliable have great work experience working with tax lawyers since I was 21.But now that kind of work is unheard of were I'm at. I've applied at every retail place within 15 miles of my house. Been here about a year living off my savings and only one job called me retail working graveyard. Which that would not work for me. But I should have took it. Because I'm almost broke and have never been in this horrible position before. I'll push carts bus tables something new would be great. I really don't want to flip cheese burgers but I'm thinking I have to. I'm 37 m. Am I just in a bad city? 30121 for non locals.? I'm getting that feeling that I don't fit in. NOT sure what to do. That's my life situation.sos Hire me.

My husband and I are considering relocating to another state, we’re just unhappy here and want to start new roots for our young son and future kids. My concern mostly is finding a job. I love to work and have great experience but worried a place like Orlando won’t care too much for my work history. Has anyone made a big move and how was the job search like? Any suggestions or stories that can relate?

I am a Nigerian, and I will be in Chicago, IL for my masters degree in computer engineering. I have my associate degree in electrical and electronic engineering from a London institute. I don't really have much fund and want to know if I will get a good job that can sustain me while I study in Chicago or is there a better state that I can easily get a good paying job?
