I got hired through a temp service for a CSR position. I like the position. However I'm not as fast as the other reps in clearing the calls out of the que. I would like to bow out gracefully before they let me go. Thoughts?

Yes you're frustrated and miserable with your current job.

But imagine the frustration and misery of long-term unemployment!

Before you throw in the towel remember this: job applicants who are currently employed are TWICE as likely to be interviewed and THREE TIMES MORE LIKELY TO RECEIVE A JOB OFFER THAN UNEMPLOYED CANDIDATES!

Wow!

Suddenly your current situation seems a little more bearable doesn't it?

I have a co-worker who I am supposed to work together with and lead our classroom, but acts as if I'm beneath her and she alone gets everything done. I'm trying to work with her but all the knit picking is annoying. I consider leaving on a daily basis.

So after being in a position for 6 months I gave my resignation. I have held a management position for 14 years and education for 14 . I do not take my career lightly. I was promised to be made into a supervisor , but I was told in the Spring that would not be happening, that I did not fit their culture. I was going to get a lawyer ,but they are so expensive. All their supervisors are under 35 and had been hired out of school. ( I was most of their instructor) . The company seems to be made up of women ages 20-35. a couple of 40 year old. but not to many over 50 like me. I was treated poorly , yet I feel guilty leaving that company. Has this happened to anyone? The quilt? I even offered to work per diem to help out. No one responded to emails or phone calls.

So in my previous experience with my last job I had no choice but to quit because 1) my stuff kept getting stolen and 2) I wasn’t paid enough to deal with the stresses of the job. I literally have warehouse experience and retail/ customer service experience. I have been unemployed for 3 weeks now been applying for warehouse jobs and retail jobs like crazy and it’s still not enough. It’s a struggle trying to find a good paying job with the experience that I have. All I keep getting is I’m not a ideal candidate for them and like I don’t understand like why you put the openings up and when someone needs a chance to show what potential they have they can never get it? I don’t know what to do. I’m struggling trying to find a stable job where it won’t stress me as much. Even applying for these warehouse jobs it is still a hassle. I want to learn new things and willing to learn, but how can I be willing to learn new things if these jobs won’t give me a chance to prove myself to them?

I have accepted a job offer for 10k a year less than I make at my current job. My current boss has asked me to stay saying "the company needs me or it will fail". The work culture is toxic, unorganized and chaotic. The new job seems better, less responsibility, 30 min longer commute. I feel guilty and have considered staying. Everyone in my life is pushing me to quit this place, but I feel as though its for selfish reasons. I. just dont know what to do. Current job pros: more money, less commute, a lot lf vacation, very flexible hours, can leave work early if needed and minimal supervision. New job pros: job function with less responsibility.

Hello Jobcasers - I have a issue with inclusion especially when time and effort has been put into a project and the "team players" ignore or not include your input. This is very discouraging and I am at the point today to quit. When you know your input is needed, and important and someone doesn't include it, its disturbing, I mean really disturbing, so I ask you today, to send me encouragement, I truly need it today.

I quit my job in March. It was very stressful and draining. I just couldn't push myself to keep going. So, I have been looking for a job and it's so stressful. Makes me feel like I should have just stayed at the job I had.
