
In November 2021, I submitted a request to use a personal day to partake in Communion services. After being denied and taking my request further up the chain, my request was eventually approved. However, the manager issued a stern warning: "Be careful running things up the chain, because you'll get a target on your back." After returning the following Tuesday, I began experiencing retaliatory acts by both Management and Senior Management, including being placed on "forced" medical leave. The situation culminated in February 2022, when my employment was terminated based upon false allegations, which were made by the best friend of the Senior Manager's wife. Unless you: want your Constitutionally-guaranteed rights violated and/or disregarded; love being spoken to like a child by someone who is young enough to BE your child; love being worked like a dog with no appreciation; having to work a 9- to 11-hour shift with only a 30-minute break, then FedEx Express' Memphis World Hub is NOT an ideal place to work!

So disappointed! I reported my manager for harassment and to the DM and HR. The DM just wants to argue with every time her and I speak. HR is not taking this seriously. My DM is sending me to different locations to work. Her reason for doing this is staff changes and coverage is needed. Coverage as always been a problem. So before I reported the harassment never ever was I sent to other locations to work. Now all of sudden I have to go cover these stores?? Meanwhile the manager that harassed me is still at the same location like nothing ever happened. I have car troubles I’m a single mom busting my butt making ends meet, gas is high and now I have to drive where ever I am needed? My anxiety is high and I feel very overwhelmed! I’ve spoken to a lawyer but these ppl are making my life hell right now! Any suggestions

In January 2019 I was unfairly dismissed from (BG) one of the largest Casino operators in Nevada with over 1000 employees nationwide. My role there was Data Architect Manager on $125,00 per year. I began working with them in July 2018. I was fired for being a whistle blower & transgender & reporting sexual harassment from my manager. For the next 12 months, the company (BG) disparaged me to my prospective employers to ensure that I would not get another job. This was a breach of the terms and conditions of a mediation settlement & agreement conducted and setout by the Nevada Equal Rights Commission who had investigated (BG) & found I had been unfairly dismissed.
The commission advised me to remove (BG) from my resume. After doing so I got a new job on March 9 2020 as Enterprise Architect I.T on $125,000 per year from another billion dollar 1000+ employee company and second largest in the market of home acquisitions & rentals in the United States (AHxR). Unfortunately I was fired from (AHxR) just 4.5 days later on March 13 2020 after another staff member at (AHxR) with initials (JA) who had also worked at the first company (BG) informed my new manager at (AHxR) about everything that happened at the first company (BG). My new manager at (AHxR) a man with initials (P I) then contacted my previous manager a man with initials (NH) who happened to be his long time best friend, whereby my previous manager (NH) told my new manager (P I) to get rid of me explaining what happened whilst I was at (BG) and the matter with the Nevada Equal Rights Commission Both men admitted in writing that they spoke about me prior to me getting fired from the second job at (AHxR).
Whilst at (BG) the first company, I was asked to hire an additioanl data architect. I interviewed several people and finally found a suitable candidate a man with initials (JB). He had come from another major casino in Las Vegas Nevada The (C). I recommended this candidate to my manager (NH) who then met him and agreed I could make him the job offer. The following day my manager (NH) changed his mind and told me he had spoken to his long time best friend (P I) who was at the time the CTO, Chief Technology Officer at the (C). (NH) said that (PI) had told him not to hire this new data architect (JB) because he had anger management issues. As such I had to redact (JB's) job offer at the instructions of my manager (NH).
I contacted (JB) after I was fired from the second company (AHxR) and apologized for having to redact his job at (BG). (JB) informed me that he had been abused and discriminated against by his old CTO Mr (P I) from the(C) in Las Vegas. This same man (P I) later left his job at the (C) to start working as the CTO at (AHxR). (P I) was the CTO who fired me at the second company (AHxR).
After I was instructed to redact (JB's) job offer at (BG), (JB) also ended up losing another job offer at the time which he had chosen to let go in order to secure the (BG) job offer. In addition (JB) was not able to get another job for several months. He believed he was also getting disparaged by his previous manager at the (C) a Mr.(P I). (JB) said he was lucky to finally get a new job because he applied with an old friend and work colleague who knew of his good skills as a data architect, and would not listen to the disparaging remarks from (P I ) from the (C). (JB's) new job was with a financial credit union here in Las Vegas Nevada.
I also have confirmation in writing from the HR department from the second company (AHxR) that I was not fired for leaving out details of the first company (BG) from my resume. They told me I was being fired because they had received several complaints about me in just the 4.5 days that I had been working there at (AHxR) and that Nevada was an at will company and I could be fired for any reason at any time. I told the HR department that I didn't even know several people yet as I had just been sitting at my desk doing my work & had only spoken to my direct manager (MG) (not the CTO who fired me (PI) ) and two colleagues who sat infront of me(RR and JA). I had lunch with (RR) a few times and got on really well with. (RR) was also fired shortly after I got fired. I was never given any details of who HR claimed had complained about me or for what reasons just that the directive had come from the CTO (P I) and the HR VP Manager (LP) .
Around October 2020 I was contacted by a HR staff member who had also recently been fired from (AHxR). She told me she was fired because she was pregnant. She told me she had filed a complaint of unfair dismissal witht the EEOC Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and was willing to testify and give evidence for me in my unfair dismissal matters. She explained how the processes had occurred which eventuated my unfair dismissal from (AHxR) and apoligzed for how I had been treated. She told me she had two attorney's but could only give me the name of one of them a female attorney here in Vegas. She said that her attorney and she were trying to negotiate a finanical settlement for her unfair dismissal from (AHxR). We spoke for around one to two weeks at which point she started ghosting me. I believe she was given a substantial finanical settlement in return for not testifying for me or giving me any further information. I believe she may have used her contact with me and the information she gave me as a bargaining tool against (AHxR) in a manner to force them to settle for the finanical figure she wanted.
Since being fired from my second job on March 13 2020 I have passed several stages of technical and non technical interviews with new prospective employers and have been offered 6 jobs from these companies as Enterprise Architect in I.T to Mobile Applications Architect to Solutions Architect ranging from $120,000 per year to $220,000 per year salary to $120 per hour on contract.
I did not include my two old companies who had fired me on my resume this time. As soon as my paperwork got to the HR department of each of these companies who had offered me a job, the job was instantly withdrawn with no explanation as to why. I have seen these jobs reposted within 1 to 2 months later at which point I contacted the companies again only to be completely ignored.
I believe that my background checks as well as some type of HR networking circle is able to view my previous employers even after I removed them from my resume & these HR people have again contacted my first two employers who continue to disparage me which in turn causes me to lose these new jobs time and time again.
Currently I am unemployable because of these two companies (BG) and (AHxR) determined to destroy me and my family's lives. The health of me and my family has deteriorated severely since this all started. One family member had a severe heart attack and needed open heart surgery soon after I got fired from the first company (BG) and due to the stress of that firing and having no job.
I have also been admitted to hospital and visited doctors and the ER departments on multiple occasions with serious health complications arising from the complications and stress of being fired and not being able to secure a new job.
I have several witnesses including previous staff members who were also unfairly dismissed because they were either female, black, pregnant or of Indian origin. Other staff members at the first company (BG) were also sexually harrassed and abused however when they reported (NH) of (BG) for his behavior they were told to shut or or lose their jobs.
This level of abuse had been ongoing at (BG) the first company for many years as my manager there (NH) had been with that company for around 17 years (as of 2018). He started there as a hardware repair man & via social maneuvering managed to get himself into the position of Enterprise Architect Manager, without any I.T skills or formal I.T education. His lack of technical skills was extremely obvious during meetings.
I have a right to sue letter against both companies from the Nevada Equal Rights Commission and the matter is currently in the Nevada District Court. I am currently acting pro se but prefer to secure a lawyer to proceed with. The first company (BG) has applied to the court for dismissal of my case although the Nevada Equal Rights Commission stated that they had retaliated against me and breached the terms and conditions of the Commission. The second company (AHxR) lied to the court on multiple occasions saying that I had signed an arbitration agreement & also refused to mediate with the court ( after getting directions from the court to mediate) saying they would not give a penny in compensation if they were forced to mediate & instead insisted that the court move to make a decision on whether to allow (AHxR) to proceed to arbitration. I did not see or sign an arbitration agreement & the company (AHxR) could not produce a copy of a signed arbitration agreement in court when asked to.
I submitted a request to the district court of Nevada around 3 weeks ago for urgent injunctive relief to move both matters to a jury trial as a matter of urgency, given the facts outlined above and my deteriorating ill health. The court requested the two defendants AHxR and BG to respond to my request. Both companies responded by rejecting my request for relief. The court has given me a deadline of Feb 23 2022 to secure legal counsel which has been very difficult to do given my worsening health and having no health insurance or income at the moment. The court has not yet made a decision whether to move the matter with the second company (AHxR) to arbitration or to dismiss the matter against the first company(BG)If anyone reading this post can offer legal representation, referrals, advice or work I would be very grateful. #unfairdismissal #BoydGaming #whistleblower #sexualharassment #retaliation #workplaceretaliation

As a courtesy to the owner, I will keep the company's name out of my post. This was a work-from-home, hospitality customer service job.
I worked at this company for four years, gaining experience in both hospitality customer service and various departments within the company. I loved my job and actually looked forward to going to work each day.
The company started to experience a growth spurt and along with that, some new management in the call center. As a Team Lead, it had been my responsibility to assist, coach, and develop agents on my team.
A new team lead came aboard and was trained correctly by our senior team lead on how to do her job. The senior team lead was in an accident that prevented her from working for about seven months and I became the senior team leader.
This new team lead, in turn, trained other new team leads on how to do the job her way, which left out quite a bit of paperwork that was required for the job. She and the other new team leads took advantage of the company by working excessive hours and became extremely bossy.
When I questioned what they were doing, I would get very rude comments back and those conversations were then given to the manager completely out of context and complaints made about me. Something wasn't sitting right, so I started documenting everything going on in the call center.
My responsibilities started being taken away such as one-on-one time with my agents and assigning work to be done. Our call center's focus became more quantity than quality which was a 180-degree turnaround for the company. Questions to my manager were being ignored and attempts at reprimanding me for the aforementioned conversations were being made by the manager and call center director.
At this point, I took most of my concerns and complaints to HR by way of a formal grievance on a Friday. By Monday, I did get to meet with the owner of the company who I highly respected until that meeting was over. As soon as that meeting was over, I was called into another meeting with the manager and call center director and given a formal reprimand. (thus retaliation)
Within a week, I was finally fired from my job via another meeting with the manager and call center director. I was ready for this as another company offered me a contract just two hours before I was terminated but the job would not start until November.
I filed for unemployment and figured that I would have to write an appeal. My termination paperwork stated a number of "exhibits" but no attachments to the email. I requested these exhibits from HR so that I could properly appeal if needed and was turned down stating they were proprietary and confidential. I most likely have all of these exhibits and many more.
In the end, the unemployment office stated that there was no misconduct on my part as claimed in my termination and I was given my unemployment. About the same time, the owner of the company emailed me and let me know he would be happy to give me a reference should I need one.
The moral to the story is this: if you are not comfortable at work, you feel like something is very wrong, DOCUMENT EVERYTHING! If your manager doesn't listen to you, find another job. I did and I am too damn old to put up with what I did for the past six months.
