I am one who oftentimes thinks about what I'm thinking about. I've been thinking about forks in the road. I think we all find ourselves standing at these forks and wonder, "Which way should I go?.." And then after we step down that road a spell, we wonder, "Should I have taken the other road?" This happens to me often and I find myself frustrated that I can't take both roads because I just know that everything would turn out differently on the other road, yet there are spots down this road that I need too, so why can't I travel both and have the very best of both worlds? Yeah, I know, thinking about what I'm thinking about. What fork did you face today? Do you feel like you chose the right one? Do you wish your choice would have been the other one? Well, I guess once we take that step we must believe it's the one we were meant to travel, regardless of the number of speed bumps along the way, because we know the other road has bumps too. All of us struggle, have challenges, feel pain, and even feel like giving up sometimes. Without these, though, we wouldn't experience their opposites that make it all worth it. Without the bad in our life, we would not be able to recognize the good. It's that way for a reason, I think… Isn't our struggles a way of measuring our growth, our progress, our ability to move forward?.. So, if we're already on that road, shouldn't we only think of the ways we can make it the very best choice? And if we are to do this, can't we take it a touch further and look forward to the challenges that are sure to surface and not view them as a hindrance, thus hindering our results, but instead as a blessing that will catapult us much further toward that destination, the place that set us on the road to begin with? Isn't it true that no matter where we may be, or where we are going, we can get there from here?... #choices #struggles #decisions #opportunities #rewards

Sometimes bad things happen to good people, sometimes when bad things happen we become better for it, whatever happens, good or bad how we respond to it, is always a choice on our part. Now sometimes we may not have been given the tools to make the right choices, still, it doesn't nor should it excuse or disannul the consequences of the choices that we make. Just like we should not be denied the rewards for the good things that we accomplish, we should not be able to escape the discipline for the wrongs which we choose to commit.
