Maureen, as a stay-at-home mom you had to manage, organize, instruct, delegate, cooperate, and mediate not to mention balance budgets, coordinate carpools and transportation, and freakin' event plan. You have more transferable skills than you know. Maureen, you got this! Go forth and be great! :)

They don't want to hear it but. I would consider myself extremely honest, and upfront. People don't like to hear the truth. That is what I'm about.

More and more companies are turning to automated systems to assist them in managing the influx of job applications and new hires. This could mean:
More applicant tracking systems (ATS) for resumes
Chatbots to answer FAQs and ask basic screening questions
Pre-recorded interviews for initial screening
Online employee training
Automated performance reviews
Influx of remote work

I think a combination of on line and meeting face to face with clients, working with an interesting job would be rewarding. I want to work for decent money but I dont want to work long hours or need more than 3 days to apply to work. I am retired so I am available but not ready to go back to work long days and give up all my days.Ive worked since I was 15 yrs old #shareyourthoughts

If you could do anything in the world as a job, what would it be? Pretend money, location, or logistics were not a factor. Dream big! :)
My dream jobs would be
- work/volunteer in elephant (and other wildlife) sanctuaries around the globe
- travel the world and teach children how to read
- own a GIANT puppy foster home/adoption center paradise

“What if doing well in life depends on much more than your ability to learn quickly and easily?” Duckworth asks. “Growth mindset is a great idea for building grit.”
I believe she is saying that failing along the way is often key to succeeding in the long run. Passion and perseverance can outweigh things such as high IQs and college degrees.
