Before your interview at #Staffmark Temp working at Baxter North America (formerly Wornick foods) make sure to...
Baxter(Wornick) foods has two divisions, a commercial one making hot food items then put in retort cases and frozen for clients such as Kroger, Gerber and various other companies. My experience was over in the other division doing military orders such as MRE's , UGRA and IPs areas. For most of my tenure there regular work, even overtime during busy periods. For some reason due to a cutback in production, lost hours in the military building I left to get hours in. This seasonal lull happens not too often but hit hard this fall. This work is not for everybody but had a regular stat time of 7a.m. with daily production quotas to be met so targeted end of work at 3:30 p.m. was often a bit later. I should note we ran full tilt during 2020 Covid crisis while many companies shut down. The warehouse location was very conveniently close to where I lived (5 miles) with a high amount of temp employees in the military side, while more automated in the commercial building. Some direct hiring if you have forklift/machine operating experience but you can start as a temp and get OJT and hired on.

I wouldn’t recommend it. They don’t answer the phone anymore and when you send emails you get no response.

I was on assignment but when I finished the assignment Staffmark never contacted me even once.
