Tips for the Job Search Journey! Hey friends! 👋 We all face challenges in life, and sometimes that includes dealing with a criminal background. But remember, your past doesn't define your future! Here are some ways to stay positive and move forward:

1️⃣ Surround yourself with positive people: Surrounding yourself with supportive and positive influences can help you stay motivated and focused on your goals. Surround yourself with people who believe in you and support your efforts to make positive changes in your life.

2️⃣ Set goals and make a plan: Setting short-term and long-term goals can give you a sense of purpose and direction. Make a plan to achieve your goals, and take small steps towards them each day. Celebrate your progress along the way!

3️⃣ Stay focused on your strengths: Everyone has unique strengths and talents. Focus on what you're good at and what you enjoy, and use those skills to build a positive future for yourself. Don't let your past define you, but rather, focus on your abilities and potential.

4️⃣ Practice self-care: Taking care of yourself, both physically and mentally, is crucial for staying positive. Make sure to get enough sleep, eat healthy, exercise, and engage in activities that bring you joy and relaxation. Taking care of yourself will help you feel more resilient and better equipped to face challenges.

5️⃣ Learn from your mistakes: We all make mistakes, and it's important to learn from them and use them as opportunities for growth. Reflect on what you could have done differently and use those lessons to make better choices in the future.

6️⃣ Seek support: Don't be afraid to reach out for support when you need it. Whether it's from friends, family, a therapist, or a mentor, having a support system can provide you with guidance, encouragement, and accountability.

Remember, it's never too late to make positive changes in your life. Stay focused on your goals, surround yourself with positive influences, and practice self-care. You've got this! 💪 #StayPositive #KeepMovingForward #YouAreMoreThanYourPast #motivation

“Sometimes, reaching out and taking someone’s hand is the beginning of a journey. At other times, it is allowing another to take yours.” Vera Nazarian

Professionalism is a much abused and misused word in today’s vocabulary! What exactly do people mean by professionalism? In a world where people are fast realizing the value and importance of bonding and connecting and getting closer to each other, why does this paradox of professionalism exist which creates artificial barriers of formality and distances people from one another? Any relationship, be it personal or professional if it is rooted in universal human values, there is no need to create any formal, artificial boundary of professionalism that only ends up keeping people away from each other. And if those intrinsic human values are lacking, then no amount of professional boundaries can make a difference or make up for the lack of it! #staypositive

It’s so easy to come down on yourself for not getting that job, that promotion or even that position you’ve been working towards.

They key is to stay positive. The world works in mysterious ways and things have a way of working out in the end.

I believe that everything happens for a reason. You May have not received an offer on a job you really wanted, because there is something else out there that is perfect for you. You may not have received that promotion or the position you wanted because there’s a better opportunity that will present itself.

Stay positive, keep working hard and In the end you will find happiness!! #understanding #job #opportunity #career #happiness #work #staypositive

Has anyone ever replied to a rejection email? Usually, I don’t pay attention, I just keep moving. The Hiring Manager promised me that the Recruiter would call me to schedule a time for the next phase. A couple days later, I saw that Indeed reposted the position like it was new. I did some research and thé reasons stated in the forum: -company may just interview people although it already has a chosen candidate -company has not found a suitable candidate -company has not interviewed enough candidates -position has been filled -etc... Anyway, after that,I clicked on another job website, position has been filled Two days later, I get a notification from a different website showing that only 2 people applied for the position. When I did not get the call last week, I had a feeling that they already hired someone.

However, this rejection email is a little different than what I usually receive. It seems more agreeable with all the usual wordings in a rejection email.

I could be disappointed because they did not keep their word but I meant to reply and thank the Recruiter for her time. Since, I already sent a Thank You email after the interview to both Recruiters and Hiring Manager ( only the Recruiter replied), should I reply to the rejection email or not? Perhaps, it could be that I am on a more positive journey; therefore, I am seeing everything different now. Your Thoughts? #jobsearch #rejectionemail #notmovingforward #replyornot #interview #nextphase #hiringmanager #recruiter #reliability #howtoproceed #staypositive #stayblessed #thankyouall

I finally got hired! I had been job searching for months. I was laid off last November from JPS. After that, I've had such a hard time finding a job. I started getting discouraged and depressed. As time went on, i guess employers were more reluctant to hire me. I finally caught a break one week ago. It's a temp agency, buy it's a start and I am so grateful! Thank you Jesus! I'm getting evicted, but somehow, I'm not real sad about it. Greater things are coming my way! #keepyourheadup #staypositive #prayershelp

The store had received 2 full trucks one night containing at least 3000 total pieces. We usually would have around 10 people people each night which is a good number for one truck never mind 2. Though we did not finish we still managed to get most of it done by helping each other when needed and it’s a much better environment when we’re all friendly towards each other
