Ever been “laid off” or terminated because it’s not the right “fit”? Bunch of BS I say , this has been my luck for awhile now , while I’m an RN people think they’re are jobs everywhere, for me no because of physical limitations, I am going to interviews got a job then was told they’re census went down and they had to postpone the position, so I am Per Diem every where , and have 3 months rent left , I’m ready to go to Trader Joe’s but afraid to be told I have no experience or overqualified....I have interviews Thursday and Friday . Does anyone know if you can file taxes if you have more deductions than income? Feedback is appreciated

The hrs were great, not to mention that I work in the freezer Department with a bunch of really awesome coworkers. I wish to reach forklift operator, who is in charge of replenishing the stock for the order pullers. Replenishing is a challenge, that's why I like the job so much, I love a challenge. all in all Trader Joe's Warehouse is a really nice place to work at.

Hi, Have you seen the Brouhaha about Geoffrey Owens -former Cosby Actor that was photographed as a Trader Joes worker? I am curious what you think about it. Here's his interview at GMA below. My favorite part is when he says: "Every job is worthwhile and valuable," YES! Respect.
I think this is a very positive moment to pause and enjoy. A couple highlight lessons are:
- All workers deserve respect for their contribution. There should be no difference in respect paid to a CEO or a Cashier. And everyone who gets up and works to support themselves and their loved ones deserves respect.
- Adjusting to circumstances of the day, not feeling different pay scales or jobs are 'beneath you' for some reason, and keeping attitude positive has great long term effects. Geoffrey is on his way back to acting now because Tyler Perry respects that attitude. There may be someone in your life where this can be instructive. I know I have friends who are reticent to accept jobs that pay dramatically less than the last job they had. But I'd suggest, follow Geoffrey's example. All work is worthy. Keep active and productive short term while keeping positive regarding longer term aspirations. Any forward movement and productivity can be productive for you and the long-run-YOU will thank short-term-YOU. Because Tyler Perry is not alone in his respect of that attitude!
So - good on everyone supporting Geoffrey, and good on Geoffrey for not just talking about himself in this moment but the value and worth of all jobs; and, good on Tyler Perry for recognizing the value of a team mate with such a positive attitude toward work, people and life.
But thats just my 2 cents - what do you think?
