As a team lead, I reported vanishing techs to management, only to be attacked by HR and ultimately fired for speaking up. How can I navigate this unfair situation? I'm at a loss. #UnfairTermination

I have been a work at home agent for over 2yrs now and my company praised me on a Thursday and gave me $1.75 raise based on performance. Sounds awesome- right? Then, they turned around the VERY NEXT day and up and FIRED me!! When I asked WHY I was being fired, the only response I received was 'state of residence is an "At-Will" state. Meaning, you can be hired/fired or quit the job with NO Repercussions. i was devastated and now i am fully aware of the true meaning when the phrase "here today & gone tomorrow" is used.
Now I am desperately trying to find another real legitimate work from home position. #termination

I was a outstanding employee that got promoted to salary and got a raise but had a conflict with a employee that caused a 3 car pileup on the expressway .i was injured and had to file a lawsuit with her insurance company .After my accident I was walking on eggshells .I was called in the office for a complaint from her that lied to hr and she said she really don’t care to hear bout the accident and when someone is crying on your shoulder it becomes a problem .i was threatened and humiliated in that office when I had no one to represent me and her supervisor was in there gaining up on me .I had a accommodation for a stool from my tharpist as I was ithearpy over 8 months .I was told to get a second note from my doctor that the first one expired .I still cotinued to excell and make sales and not them get to me .Then I get a email to come in the office from hr the following morning .Im thinking what now I have not talked to anyone and I’m doing my job and I can’t understand why I’m being called in the office again .Then the person is charge which is the one who caused all this is her friend and he was in charge of our team while my boss was medical leave .He was in charge of our sales .I get a call from him telling me whatever I do don’t get upset and storm out of there and listen to what she has to say and don’t storm off .Im very confused here cause I have no idea what’s going on and why he’s saying this to me .He tells me he has no idea why I’m getting called in and just giving me advice on how to prepare .After I get off the phone with him I get a second call from my coworker saying what’s this u have meeting with hr tomorrow .Im very confused now to why everyone knows bout this meeting and still have no clue what’s going on and to why I’m being called in .The next morning I go to the office and I go to go in her office and she tells me it’s not in my office follow me it’s in back of the office .I follow her and she brings me into the security office and he’s sitting there and she’s there and they have a pamphlet in front of them .I sit down and they tell me I’m being suspended for unethical sales practices and it’s against company policy .I was about to fall out I couldn’t believe this as I was just called in the office by one of my supervisors the week before saying I was doing outstanding and got a raise .I was crying really hard and she slams the paper down and ask me to hand over all my equipment which is cellphone and iPad .I had no idea this was happening and I asked security if I can please get the phone number out of that phone .He said what phone number do u need .I said I need some phone numbers out of there .Hes like that’s fine u can get the numbers out of the phone .As I had the phone in my hand trying to retrieve the numbers I was shaking and she the Hr manager took her hand and ripped the phone out of my hand as she twisted my wrist .I said oh heck no u just assaulted me .She said that’s no longer her phone that’s Comcast property .Security says to her what’s going on she was just trying to retrieve a phone number u didn’t have to do thst .Im like get her out of her right now I’m calling the cops .He demands he to leave the office and she storms out .Im crying and he tells me to calm down and not call the cops cause it will jeopardize my job and that’s why they have there own legal to do that .I believed him and didn’t want to jeopardize my job and called the 1800 Comcast listens .I was crying so hard and he told me that he would be a witness to what happen today not to worry .Then he tells me I have to be quiet and calm down and quietly leave without talking to anyone through the back door and he would handle her .I leave and I get a call from the one in charge of our team asking me what happened and I told him and he’s like I’m sorry that happened to u I have another call I have to call back.I called the security told me to and put the report in.The next day I get a call from a girl named Kristin saying she was assigned to my case and gona handle it on her end and review the tapes but it’s not gona be overnight and she had to investigate .I don’t hear anything or six weeks and I try to call her and she don’t return my calls .I finally get a call 6 weeks later saying they reviewed the tape and was handled on there end but couldn’t tell me what happened for security reasons and that I would get a call about my job status and she’s sorry that that happened to me to just hang there .I get a letter from ups the next day I’m fired for unethical sales practices.I was about to break down and couldn’t believe that all this was happening to me .They had me on suspension for 6 weeks and then fired me .I call the person that fired me and she said mulitiple people did my investigation and thst security said nothing happened and I misunderstood him.Then I asked what’s did u do about the battery is she still working for the company .She says I cannot .We cannot tell u how other people were handled .I taped it all .She lied multiple times on the tape .i was done with all of it and just wanted to file for unemployment.Well I didn’t qualify for the reason they gave to being fired .They said it’s breaking company policy and u do you qualify for unethical sales practices .So they said there would have to be a investigation and get there side and wanted my documents and was asking for proof on there end as well .I didn’t hear anything for a month and finally get the call I qualify and they failed to show proof and ignored there calls .Im on Facebook and I see the one that assaulted me and one who did the investigation are friends on Facebook .I knew I was setup and I need help cause I got a right to sue from the EEOC and I need a lawyer that will work with me and take my case .Please if anyone knows anyone in the Indianapolis area

loved working there but when I had surgery it took to long for Doctors to release me they let me go. Said when I was better she would hire me back that was Michel in houskeeping so when I was releasd I called her many times that I could work but never got a call back guess she was tp busy talking to her husband on phone. I wouldnt go back now .

I was fired from my job recently for supposedly having fleas, because I have a German Shepard. I was automatically accused of bringing fleas into the office because other coworkers have small dogs and they couldn't have fleas.
