
I found a job as a temp and became perm i just past my 90 day probabtion and now my manger just threw me into a new department i have to train someone to do my job in one day. I have a union and dont like the new department doing research all day and being an assistant to someone isnt what i signed up for manager changed her tone with me as well. I hate it now at this company can i complain to my union grin and bear it or look for a different job. I was doing enrollment and contributions. I asked about going back to contributions she said i will keep it in mind if a position opens up. I had no say so with this new position can companies due that or is there a hidden agenda because no one wanted the position please help shed some light for me i am more of a numbers accounting person not a researcher helper person

I had enrolled with Culinary Union 226. Our union dispatcher sent me there to take a job position during the Poker tournament.

Recently fired from my job as a Service Manager. jJob was in food service. Employees were all union, obvisiously managers were not. My manager never supported any decision I came up with much less any suggestion as well. He would always say that he would check with the employees and never get back to me on it. Was called in early one day only to be terminated because I would not let an employee take their 30 minute break at the time when we were opening for service, which is always a very busy time. Since my manager could never make a decision on his own and never would discipline the employees they had the run of the place. Glad I am not there anymore but have not been able to find anything since then Suggestion anyone? I am willing to relocate for a new position/career.

Such as rail, automobile manufacturing, USPO, UPS, FedEx and others are companies that hire only family and friends quickly; anyone else? Pure trouble. The ideal is: you read of an opening and you apply with all your heart with resume and cover letter and they don't ever reply to say thanks; if you lucky to get an interview they don't even pay you for turning up like they did in the old days. They will take your effort and time for granted even when you get hired.

how do i pay for 5 girls and sent them to NEW YORK UNIVERSITY AND KANSAS LAW SCHOOL AND 3 TO ORAL ROBERTS CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY . i wasnt making 100k a year back than well the stock companies have a 529 college program i open for 1000 but they didnt tell me the money is only for education . my granddaughter drop out so i had to wait for another one to graduate and go to college. but i found out the credit unions have a certificate of deposit at that time paid 8% i put 5000 they would in 10yrs paid 2000$ interest and each girl by the time of 18 would have 7000 each. and guess what since the kid is only the beneficiary THE PARENT MEANING YOU GET TO CONTROL THE FUNDS AND DISPURSE THEM ANYWAY YOU WANT. also didnt know borrowing the money gave me outstanding credit and a great credit profile . they didnt mind me having past bankruptcy or bad credit because now with them I HAD OUTSTANDING CREDIT . and according to dave ramsey and other financial guru credit unions are rated # 1. YOU KNOW THE POOR AND THOSE THAT STRUGGLE SHOULD REALLY KNOW THIS INFO THEY DONT TEACH IN SCHOOLS OR IN COLLEGE. wow a class showing you how not to become homeless and make ends meet thru learning how to use the system of the banks and credit unions and all financial places and that is OPM other peoples money . I USED IT LEGALLY AND LEGITIMATELY TO THE TUNE OF 100 K A YEAR REVOLVING SALARY . well not salary because i wasnt working only for myself :

The pay was good.. but the experience was not so good it's supposed to be a union job and I was let go because of another person's actions and I didn't even have a chance to speak on my behalf... I believe that it was unjust that I was let go

I feel they treat their people well. And of course they are Union. They have good benefits.

I worked for allied unversal for five years and they suspended me for a use of force five days and then they called me in the office and said I got let go because a supervisor said I cuss him out and wrote a report and I told them I never did that I said I told that supervisor went and took my bag and look though in the office without my permission and I wouldn't let me in the office to get my own stuff and they would let me do my report they Just believe him and this is on the same day we became union

I worked at a company for 15 almost 16 year never got in trouble always helped out pick up hours if they needed..recently I have been sick first with ammonia then bronchitis then the flu in a 6 month time frame. Well I just got over sick well I thought I didn't eat or really get sleep the night before my shift or day I should of called off but felt bad cause there wasn't many ppl gonna be there that night and I knew it would be busy so I would of felt guilty calling off and I was right.well during my shift someone watched me and said nothing but when I was leaving she said I was drunk and didn't walk right. I told her that I didn't get sleep night before and didn't eat for awhile. Well treated me horrible sent me to get a drug test knowing I was sick. Well months before all this is was taking all kids of day and night meds was on 3 different antibiotics and had a inhaler for the bronchitis. Well test came back with methamphetamine in my system never did meth or Crack come to find out my cold meds could have showed up with that or my albtural inhaler.They fired me cause I had methamphetamine they didn't ask anything or do further testing to see what it was.I'm in a union paid dues for 15 year and the manager wouldn't give me a case to explain myself cause it came up positive. Every hospital visit I gave them my papers. So the advice I need is can I sue them cause I was sick and took cold meds
