I work for DCAS, NYC Parks and the elections Board. They call me when they need me. I also do volunteer work.

I love working with children so I went to school and got an Early Childhood Development Certificate then became a Substitute teacher at Vision Academy at Riverside.

Ok. So I'm currently working in a warehouse. Its not a terrible job but its not where I want to be for the rest of my working years. Through my high school and early college years I've been a volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America and the Society for Creative Anachronism (medieval reenactment group) as a teacher, admin assistant, event coordinator, and a couple other little things. I have a broad spectrum of experience thanks to these things. However, because none of it was at an "official" capacity I get passed over for a "more qualified candidate". I've had several interviews at this point. I make it past the initial interview, get invited back for a 2nd interview, only to be told by phone or email right before the interview that the company has gone forward with other candidates. The HR lady is left hanging looking the fool and I lose not only a day of work from my current job, but the shot I need to go forward and do better with my life. That has happened twice in a row with 2 different companies. I know I can't do anything about them. What can I do about me?

Helping people, couseling

I think it’s important to volunteer at a community church to be able to help others and grow as a human being

If you are looking to work there be very kind to all the animals there, you might wanna bring a mask for when you go to the dogs kennels it can be very smelly but overall Town & country humane society works around your own work schedule very stressful day after work just go volunteer there or just go there and say you want to look at the dogs and the cats best place I ever worked great stress reliever

AS the treasurer of the men's club soccer team at Widener University, I am responsible for arranging fundraising events to support out team. On 9/14, 15 of my teammates and I volunteered to run the PJ's concessions stand inside the stadium during the PHL vs LAFC game. It is always fun working with them and I lead everyone through the entire day to make sure everything goes smoothly. We managed to raise over $1,500 for our club on this day! I would say this this was definitely a huge success and we hope to do this again in the spring semester.
