It probably was the worst place I could ever work the training was horrible nice duck me in the trenches and didn't let me get out it's like learning a new language that they can't even teach you right they pay you under the table and definitely not enough if you look at the one on Deer Valley or the one on Bell and whatever you do do not eat there everything is just tainted mind you the people I work with work great workers but you work with what you got to work with I wouldn't suggest working there or eating there

Hi my name is Beth, I was out of work for about 6 to 7 months.... I applied at the waffle House in DeLand FL. The same day I did my application on line I got a phone call to set up an interview, good news within a week of applying I was working in the store training "It was a life saver" I have been cooking at the waffle House for 8 months now, and the past is really good!!!! I started at 10.50 an hour and within a month you can get a raise to 12.90! But I don't want to go on and on but if you want to work the waffle House is a wonderful place to work!!!! Good luck to everyone I hope you find a great job like I did

I stayed at waffle house 8 years because I was very good at it. It just came natural I was born into the waffle house family. My mother, aunt, uncle and alot of close friend also. I was pretty much raised in and around waffle house. The main reason is I love to cook but I also love a challenge I promise it's not as easy as we make it seem. It takes alot of concentration and focus and most important team work It just makes me happy to see a smile on the faces i cooked for. The pay is great especially through the new competive tiers make you strive to be the best u can be. Nothing is like the waffle house and that's just a fact have a great day. Thomas j brown
