We as humans are extremely territorial creatures, so the idea of desk sharing is not always accepted with open arms. However, in the offices that still have the traditional system of assigned desks, the occupancy hardly goes past 50%. What is Desk Sharing? Desk sharing is a work arrangement when one workstation is no longer assigned to only one person, but shared among two or three employees usually working in shifts or in a different pre-arranged manner that allows each of them to have access to the workstation when needed.
I personally love having my own workspace, I do not like to share my space with my coworkers. I think that it has a lot to do with the responsibility of having to clean up after people. I also do not like to share my work supplies either, I like to come into work and see that everything is the way that I left it. How about you, do you like sharing your workstation? #Workstation #Sharing #Preference

I remember plugging away at upgrading each workstation as systematically and efficiently as I could even though the most recent addition to the team at that location was more interested in talking with the lead technician.
Knowing that we would be working late into the night otherwise, that me and the lead technician had a long drive back home after the job was done, I made a pretty big dent in most all of the tasks at hand. I practically upgraded most all of the counter workstations myself. I do believe that I did so to some surprise of my lead technician. I think he was relieved that someone was actually doing some work to get the location done within good time on his last day.
