TX ID expired in November. SPS APPT is in June. Unemployment approved but on hold because TXID expired and third party entity won't approve verifying me with expiredbTXID. Keep applying to jobs get hired then rejected because id is expired. What do I do? TWC don't know either... #benefits #TWC # #appeals

Hi @Vincent Altamura - I'm sorry to hear that things are not going as smoothly as they should for you. I wish we could provide more individualized advice, but we are not unemployment experts, unfortunately. I'd recommend that you keep trying to get hold of your UI office or if you’ve exhausted all other options, trying to contact your state representative. You can also check out this article about practices to resolve unemployment issues.

Worked two jobs for the past five years my second job was self employed and paid cash and it stopped in March due to COVID I work as after school tutor freelance (school closed). my first job I was able to keep working up until I was forced to quit in august because my close relative was diagnose with COVID and I had to primarily be her caretaker. I applied for unemployment was denied I applied for PUA and was denied their reason was I didn’t lose my job do to the pandemic but I did. I appealed this decision I still haven’t been back to work since august how long does it take and will the judge approve it in my favor? I’ve been having it very hard on the verge of being evicted because I am months behind I am the primary caretaker in my family I’m having another baby in February please I hope and pray I will be approved I can’t afford basic need so please any advice #pua #benefits #appeals #illinoisunemployment #unemployment #selfemployed

Hi @Destiney Wingard - my advice would be to continue following up about a decision about your appeal. Other than that, are you ready to return to work? I know that you are expecting very soon, but would you feel comfortable finding a remote job perhaps?

So..........after appealing my case 2 times for PUA and contacting my state senator for help I thought things were going to change for the better. I was approved for a months worth of PUA and I've been jobless for over 6 months. The judge claimed that I should've/could've stayed at the job that was treating me like a worthless pos because covid didn't effect me directly, just my job position that I worked so hard for. In the meantime everything currency related (utility bills/ rent/bank account) is going into collections because Iowa Workforce can't pin a date to when I'll be recieveing my payments. So I'm stumped on how I'll recieve anything without a bank. I believe this was a ploy to further dive me into depression 😔

I filed for unemployment in TN on 4/30 and got denied on 8/11. I appealed the same day and have yet to get a date for appeal. I’ve had respiratory problems my entire life and was hospitalized with double pneumonia ( not a smoker) earlier this year. I had a Drs appt and told my employer weeks ahead of time. They discharged me stating I had broke company policy for attendance! They had been discussing how they were losing money and the employees could take a unpaid leave of absence but if applied for unemployment they would consider it as a resignation. I unjustly lost my job and the state of TN is failing me as well. Ive emailed my representative and my mayor. I’ve called and spoke with the unemployment office 20+ times and sent numerous emails with no help. #unemployment #advice #appeals
