Hi, Im on UC in PA n i hit my BYE date 4/3/21 so since ive been working some i had to re-file my claim which i did and received my financial determination letter sayin accepted. So i missed 2 weeks of payments that i certified for on time while app being reviewed this past weekend i went to file my biweekly and it asked me to recertify for those 2 weeks i missed so they were both accepted along with last week and that made 3 weeks claimed. Now payday came and past with no money deposited and no information regarding any payments on my accounts Payments History i dont understand what’s going on u cant talk to a human ever at UC I dont see why I haven’t received $ since they accepted my claim dont make sense does anyone know what could be goin on or lmk what you’ve done with this problem if u had it #unemployment #pennsylvania #benefits #claim #help #UNEMPLOYMENT #PAUC #PENNSYLVANIAUNEMPLOYMENT #UCnotPaying #advice

Does anyone have any information about a pending issue waiting for adjudication aNd what that means exactly. I was approved for unemployment benefits in December. I received 3 payments. In January I found a job and worked for 3 weeks but got laid off because it was a temporary job. I continued to claim my weeks and reported all earnings. Now my payments are on hold. Has this happened to anyone else? #unemployment #claim #help #advice

Hi @Tracy Stauffer , this message most often related to review pending on a monetary and/or non-monetary matter. Based on the experience you describe, the temporary hold on your insurance benefits payment remains in effect until they can verify your last layoff for the temp job.

I couldn't find a verification processing timeline in Florida Department of Economic Opportunity but I would guess 2 - 4 weeks due to all the new and pending claims. Call the agency if you don't receive an update message or correspondence within the next week.

Also, quick question(s)... what was the temp job? Did it initially start off as a temp work assignment or was it a full-time position that ended unexpectedly? What type of work do you do? Do you have any specific work preferences?

  • What’s your work background, are you looking for a specific job?
  • Are you interested in full or part-time jobs?
  • Are you interested in remote/work from home ONLY or are you open to on-location job options?
  • Do you have related work experience or are you interested in changing careers?
  • Anything else?

We would very much like to assist you with locating and landing a good long term career job opportunity. Keep pursuing your unemployment benefits but please feel free to allow us to assist you with your new career job prospects. Continue to keep us updated on your progress. Stay Encouraged!

You shouldn't lose your job for testing positive for covid. I was out for 3 weeks and still had my job. You need to be put in a medical leave and when you're cleared to return to work, the doctor will give you a release paper.

I'd worked two jobs and I had to quit one of my job because of how far to commute and it's only part time too. But I kept other job which is close to my house.

Anyone know what it means on edd ui online when it says "not paid" in status. I marked all boxes correctly on my claim for the weeks so I'm confused. Been calling them all day but no luck #unemployment #help #california #claim

When I first signed up for unemployment I was on hold for 6 months before the state started paying me. I never received the extra money only the regular $175, now that they continued the unemployment my account say inactive and they add more monetary value to my account but can’t file a claim. Would they give me the back pay or do I need to start a new claim? Can anyone help with these questions? #advice #unemployment #claim

You have to close out all weekly claims up to Dec. 26. Then go back like your doing weekly cert for the following week and it will tell you to reopen a new claim, it will say click here

rhis is just a little advice for people in california who have applied for pua or ui but havnt received it. i have helped about 15 people file and receive their claims and have learned that the most important thing to do once you file your claim is to get your edd account number and register with the Benifit Program Online which is a seperate registration from the UI online. Edd says they are waiting on hundreds of thousands of people to simply certify for the first week of their claim which will trigger issuance of debit card and payment. Once you register with BPO you will be able to get messages in your inbox that you may not receive in your email along with monitoring your claim. and if you didnt receive back pay its because you have to request that they backdate your claim by using the ask edd link . hope this helps someone #unemployment #claim #california

Unemployment claims in California that ended 12/26/20-

Hello everyone. Just some information for people whos unemployment pandemic relief claims ended 12/26/20. The government did pass an extention and EDD is currently working on getting the information from the labor department and working on the programming necessary to process this new extension. I had a message in my EDD inbox in UI online that said my claim had ended and i needed to file a new claim. But, when i read the extension information on the EDD website it said that if i had a current claim i didnt need to refile. So, i decided to try to refile online. I went through all the steps even set up my ID in Identify.me completed the application and when i submitted the application i got a message that I didnt need to file a new claim because i had an existing claim. So, if you had a Pandemic unemployment claim that ended 12/26/20 you do NOT need file a new claim. As soon as they have everything done they will send an email to your EDD inbox telling you that you have weeks to certify. #unemployment #coronavirus #claim #california All my best regards, Amy Benton
