Lead Teacher at Luminous Early Childhood Learning Center

Good evening Mary Jane. To be qualified for a teacher job you would need to apply to colleges/universities that offer education programs and select the specific area that is complimentary to your prerequisites or qualifications. For me, when I migrated to the USA I was already a qualified teacher having my teaching Diploma and bachelor's degree in Guidance and counseling. Therefore, all I had to do was to apply to a college that offered a master's degree in education. Which landed me at Lehman College. Hope this information was beneficial to you.

I am looking into continuing my Education to get an SAC. I have experience in all the qualifications areas needed to be a Behavior Health Therapist. I have received a lot of job notifications for Behavioral and Mental Health Therapists. What do I need to work as a Behavioral Health or Mental Therapist? Now, I am looking for a part-time job as a SAC-IT. #advice #education #jobsearch #workfromhome #interview

A Bachelor's degree is not always a requirement for Executive Assistant roles. Relevant work experience, skills, and ability to handle high-level tasks are often more important. Highlight your qualifications, experience, and professionalism in your job search. Consider using Jobcase and other job search providers to find opportunities that match your skill set.

I had an experience while working as a Math and English tutor for HeyTutor, which partnered with LAUSD School district. I was assigned to tutor a female nonverbal kindergarten student with autism spectrum disorder. The classroom teacher instructed me to physically push the child if she bit me. I was extremely uncomfortable with this and felt that the child wasn't receiving appropriate specialized education.

I requested a reassignment to another school, citing the inappropriateness of the assignment given my lack of training and credentials, as well as the excessive distance to the school. My manager claimed she spoke to the child's teacher, but used the wrong gender for the child, indicating the conversation never happened. Instead of helping me with the reassignment, I was asked to return to the distant school to discuss it further, despite explicitly stating that I would not be able to return.

The next morning, I was terminated for insubordination, attendance issues, being clocked in without working, and at the school's request – all of which were false accusations. I have never received any negative feedback from school staff. Now, I'm finding it difficult to get work within the district due to this blacklisting. I’m not sure what to do in order to clear my reputation and hopefully work for The company that I dedicated three amazing years to working with at risk youth in underprivileged schools #jobsearch #termination #education #advice #aboutmyjob

One important thing to do during your interview at Valencia College is to showcase your enthusiasm for education and your commitment to student success. Be prepared to share specific examples of how you have made a positive impact in previous educational roles. Good luck!
