#my résumé only tells you about the career I used to have. #advice I would love to be a greeter at a hair salon or something in that field or a manager etc. I cannot cut hair anymore due to my hands. What careers do you have out there that you do not need your hands? #general #noexperience other than cutting and coloring hair. I’ve worked n this field for over 35 years. #backtoworkmoms #motivation #networking #inspiration #courage #wordsofadvice #jobsearch

#My Thoughts

Something to think about! Last month I was looking to fill a position for Home Cleaning. I interviewed three people and only one showed up. She is 65 years old and ready to work. I set her up with my client for the interview process and they met. After the interview, I asked my client what did she think about the interview? She said she liked her but had some concerns? I asked what her concerns were? She mentioned her age and she could handle the tasks? I talked my client into giving her a chance and she agreed.

I hired her with a starting pay of $18.00 per hour. Three weeks later and my client was tickled pink by her work performance. She couldn’t believe how hard of a worker she is and continues to be. I gave my employee a $2.00 raise on the third week of employment. Shocked that I gave her $2.00 more per hour. She Thanked Me for the chance to prove herself.

On Friday I sold the contract back to my client with the agreement of paying my worker $25.00 per hour. She agreed and is now paying my ex-employee $25.00 per hour for 16 hours per week. This is proof of the good that happens when you put in the work!

Hopefully, this will motivate people to never give up! To all the people looking for work. I currently am hiring for the following positions. House Cleaners, Carpenters, Plumbing, Pool Cleaners, General Labor, Power Washers. If you live in Massachusetts and willing to work I am hiring. I will give Ex-Felons a chance also. I can’t guarantee the above mentioned post. It is a case by case bases. #advice #motivation

#My Thoughts

Good Morning Community, I have been on a work assignment for the past 6 weeks and then I needed a week to get back info the awing of things. I have been what I would called blessed in one way and cursed in another. Only kidding the reason I say this is because I took on a work assignment up in Maine for the past 6 weeks and it was quite the experience. As you may know, I am a Supervisor with a healthcare company and I took a side job with a consumer so he could for fill a bucket list item he had on his bucket list of life. It was sometimes enjoyable and others stressful for me do to his illness but in the end, it was a pleasure to help a person for fill something he wouldn’t otherwise been able to do. One of the things that I found interesting was the fact that there are still people in this world that still do not give internet and could careless they don't. I was in a part of Maine that there is no internet service and believe me I tried everything I could to try and make it happen after 2 weeks without it. I went to town and Purchased a hot spot only to disappointed it didn't work. Then I thought I would order cable and get internet. Wrong Again! Finally, I settled in with the fact that I too could do without the internet also. And I must say it was quite interesting but yet truly enjoyed the fact there was no internet. I spent time meditating and it was awesome I must say it brought me back to growing up where people are happy with flip cellphones and if they worked they worked it not I-well! With this said I thought you would get a kick put of this picture. I think it will say it all?

Who,why, when ? Is the question! Sometimes life throw at you a curve and u have to make a choice .rides don't last forever and vehicles break down and u need some way to get from a to b . So u uber cool with an all luxury ride smooth and creamy ! Like cake work they are there to supply you a compliment and a cool ride for less ,my choices would be uber not family cause at least you don't have to buy them lunch #My Drives #MyDrives
