Happy Friday Community, as we begin this Friday Morning why not start it with a smile? Enjoy this Friday by saying Good Morning to a stranger. Keep an Open Mind, show Kindness to Others, and be Thankful for the Simple Things in Life. Sometimes we tend to overlook the simplest things I'm life. Take a look around you and enjoy the sights. Offer a a kind word to a stranger and make their day. Hold Open a Door for the person behind you. Ask if they are OK? Thank a Cashier for their service. Show Compassion toward others and Make it a Better Day. One never knows what another might be going through in life. All it takes is a simple Thank You to make it a better day. While at work show appreciation to others, offer to help. Who knows what tomorrow brings, why not enjoy today? #inspiration

Every successful person has a painful story, so never give up. A school bell that sounds as a disturbance at 8:am also sounds interesting at 2:pm... it just a matter of time, so Don't envy anyone. Not everyone walking fast has an appointment. Some have running stomach!...If a rose smells better than tomatoes, It doesn't mean the rose can make a better stew. Don't try to compare yourself to others. You also have your own strength, look for it and build on it. All animals that exist, were in Noah's ark. A snail is one of those animals. If God could wait long enough for snails to enter Noah's ark; His door of grace won't close till you reach your expected position in life. Never look down on yourself, keep looking up. Remember that Broken crayons still color. Keep on pushing, you never can tell how close you are to your goal. Stay blessed. #mythoughts # #

September 11, will always remain special in my heart. It started with my Oldest Daughter being born on this day. The weekend was great, traveling to New York for the Michael Jackson Come Back Tour. The night before we enjoyed the concert and woke up on September 11, at 6:30 AM. Ready to catch the plane back to Providence, RI at 12:30 PM. We decided to head to Ground Zero for Breakfast at the Bodega. As we were finishing up, the ground shook and right before our eyes the plane crashed in the Twin Towers. People Scrambling and watching, chaos soon took place. Still not knowing at the time what happened? We headed back to our hotel so we thought. Smoke filled the air, paper’s flying, particles and debris soon covered us. Police and firefighters scrambled around us. Stuck in the middle of it all we were there. Then the second plane hit. Scared and confused stuck to see it all. It was when it really hit us America is Under Attack. As we continued to watch in disbelief the worst was yet to come. Watching people make a choice to end their life. One jumped and then more continued to follow after it. Shocked and saddened by what we saw.. I started to pray hoping for it to end. It continued for five days more. The city was in lock down and we witnessed plenty more. Families lost loved one’s and more. At that time I was thankful for the kindness of strangers we met during that time. Here we are 20 years later and still can’t believe it happened. Today we will come to remember it again, as people will gather to read the names of the lost ones who I will never forget. Life is short and has so much more to offer. Appreciate the simple things in life. Be kind to others and show compassion to all. As this day continues, please keep in mind how blessed we are to celebrate life. Enjoy this day as a memory to all. #motivation #inspiration

This is something to think about. This is my opinion and only my opinion. It is in no intent to offend anyone who reads this.

Over the past few weeks, I attended a meeting and heard of stories why people are refusing to return to work over wages. I will share my story with you. It started with me finding a job. I started applying for many positions only to be let down over and over again. Finally, I got the call on a Friday afternoon offering me a position. Excited at first until it came to the wage topic. Unfortunately, we will not be able to pay you what you are asking. However, if you are willing to take the offer they is always room to grow? I accepted the challenge of lower wages. After all some money was better than no money at all? I started the job with the thought of proving I am worth more. Before I knew it 75 days later and I was being called into the supervisors office. Thinking I was in trouble for something, being closed minded at the time. The supervisor started out by saying you have been here for 75 days, you never complained, you showed up on time and did your job. You helped others when needed, you stayed later and didn’t ask for pay. Today, we would like to offer you a supervisor position. What do you think? I accepted it and it pays much more than expected. The moral of the story is sometimes you might not get what you want but they is always room for growth. #advice #successstory

Take time to appreciate the sights around you when traveling. Monday when driving to a customers home, I saw this waterfall and had to stop and take a minute to appreciate it. Thought I would share it with you in the community.

#mythoughts eventually the job was just too far away and costing me too much for gas and wearing out my car driving 200 plus miles a day. But I did like the job. I rebuilt the whole front end because I was driving through the mountains on Rt20 all the way over to I-5 and Beyond and back everyday. My car in very, very good shape.

While I sat waiting for people I had taken to dialysis I was able to shop mostly over in Chico (I live in Clearlake) My wife loves it here but I don't like driving 70 to 100 miles to get to a decent place to shop on my day off. Plus I read study a lot and it allowed me to do that or I could relax and go out to breakfast.
