The Regulatory Review Moshe Z. Marvit This issue has had renewed importance because over the last few decades companies have done everything possible to complicate employment ... #opinion #buisness

So I've been asked to come to an orientation at Marshalls which is super awesome, but during the interview the manager told me I'd only be able to do part time based on my hours and that I'd probably only be able to get 12 hours a week or less!!
I've also recently interviewed at Dicks Sporting Goods and was told to wait for about a week to see if I'd hear back from them for a second interview and from what I got from that interview it seems I'd be working from 9-5 everyday except Sunday which would be way more hours than what the manager at Marshalls initially told me I'd most likely get.
Should I go through the orientation at Marshalls and wait and see if it's possible to be given more hours or should I not even bother and continue job searching and hope that Dicks contacts me again?
Notes:
- I ride the bus so bus schedules factor in to my job finding
- I really need to find a job soon that has good hours as I need to help my mom with bills since we're very low on money at the moment

I feel like this is an important topic to discuss for interviewing that a lot of people don't think about. In my opinion, the candidate should never arrive more than 15 minutes before their scheduled interview start time unless they are specifically told to do so in order to fill out paperwork.
I feel like if I were to arrive too early it can look like I didn't know when the interview was or the company has to go out of their way to accommodate me, especially if it's a small office.
Are there any other opinions on this?

A lady in England is getting a lot of attention on Twitter for her posts complaining that her employer sent her home for not wearing heels at the office. What do you think? Ridiculous employer? Or, Employers have right to require certain dress codes?
