I was getting my PUA benefits but they have stopped. The PUA portal claim benefit says open issues but theyre not listed. Ive uploaded my credentials. I have contacted the customer service call center....they want my social security card now but the SSA offices are closed and I cant get my replacement card online because I dont have a birth certificate. I need help!!! My wife filed hers and qualified for over $8500 and for 4 weeks her claim says open issues and no money. We r back on the street waiting for this money. I need help. Real help. Not scams like SARAH WILLIAMS and her fake private response team. Please someone help me and my wife. I dont want to be homeless anymore.#homeless #covid19 #pandemic #PUA #Imatter #arizona #benefits #coronavirus #des #jobsearch

Hi, I had applied for PUA and I made a mistake on my first claim saying I couldn’t work or unravel to work even though I was getting frustrated filling out my first claim and didn’t pay attention to what I clicked. On the second claim I filed I said I am able to work but I am not able to certify for benetfits and not able to get in contact with EDD. I would like some help on how to get in contact with EDD or to be able to get some knowledge on how I can fix my account to be able to certify for benefits?? #unemployment #claim #pua #coronavirus #california

Hi All, I was late applying for UI because I didn’t think I qualified. I applied at the beginning of May and have finally gotten payments for the month of may, but I see that the PUA actually goes back to either end of March or early feb, according to different sources.

How do I fix my claim or start another claim for those months ?

Thanks to anyone with info, and good luck/stay safe to you all.

-Pete

I was working as a caregiver (self employed DBA Seniors Helping Seniors) and I stopped going into senior's homes or residential facilities on March 15, feeling that it was not safe for me or for the clients. I have had a terrible time trying to apply for PUA, due to all the unusual aspects of my situation. I wasn't working full time, I cannot easily replace this job with a similar one, and because of my age (69), I am not eager to start over in some other career. There has not been anyone at the NC-DES who could answer my questions, and I've gotten all hung up trying to do the weekly certifications, trying to find out if I am supposed to be applying for work through the NC-Works site, and really don't understand what makes sense for me in my unusual circumstances. I have sent in a three page explanation to the Raleigh address, but got no reply. I have asked "chat-room" helpers to look up my file and at at least flag it because of my confusion about how to apply, and how to fill out the confusing forms, and the latest is that I am supposed to wait until June 24th before any decisions will be made... I am talking with someone at Pisgah Legal Services, and everyone says to contact our state representatives - but will that really help???? #PUA application process (problems)

I need some answers, I live in New York State and since I wasn't eligible for UI benefits I was directed to apply for PUA (Pandemic Unemployment Assistance) which will net me $600 USD per week for up to 39 weeks. Upon applying for this benefit and subsequently getting approved for it I received my first payment of $600 USD on Friday, April 24th, 2020. After following all necessary instructions to keep receiving PUA, eagerly awaited this much needed money the following Friday... to my surprise nothing was deposited into my account. I tried calling the Department of Labor to no avail... Will I keep receiving this benefit? Any other New Yorkers in the same situation as me? What's going on? I just need some answers as to why I didn't receive my PUA this week.. #coronavirus #pandemicunemploymentassistance #PUA #NewYorkCity #NYC #NewYork #UI
