I'm telling you the truth...

The framework and challenge of passing an interview has been around forever, as people phrase it today.

Fast-forward, today, people are still struggling with getting one foot in the door, and two-feet out to celebrate a win.

In March let's talk about a "corny expression" called: How to pass a "doggone" interview?

You'll learn some interesting things, and you'll be glad that you did.

I Believe You Can...!

Low salary offer

How many interviews that you been on,and you were offer a low salary?

I have been offer low salaries plenty of times. I always negotiate my salary. WHY I know what I'm worth, and I already had research the position that I was interested in. Here are my tips on how to professionally handle when you were offer a low salary.

Reacting with frustration and disappointment does not help. Stay calm and use this time to gather your thoughts, make the important decision and prepare a solid response, by negotiating the salary that you know you deserve. When you respond with grace and sincerity, you will appear more likeable and easy to work with, which what employers want to see.

So don't take it personally. Employers can offer low salaries for a number of reasons. Perhaps they have a tight hiring budget, or they're leaving some wiggle room, because the expect you to negotiate. So it doesn't always have to do with the individual person.

So do not be afraid to Negotiate.

Most people are not aware why organizations have low salary-wages. Lower salaries to employees based on their budget, the candidate's level of experience or the company's market research, which tells them about the average salary for similar positions in the same field or industry.

Another reason for low salary-wages is:

Valuable, not expendable Many of these jobs have high staff turnover, which creates the impression within organizations that the people holding these roles are expendable. As such, little effort is made to understand their needs and desires or to invest in their skills and their futures. ... Poorly treated: The analysis reveals how poorly many of these workers are treated. ...

Most companies on their site for the employee can see the budget report to know where the company is headed. If a company is doing well, it will offer more towards investment in labor. I wouldn't want to have a company and not invest in the staff that works for me because I know it will help improve their life and work performance.

You take care the laborer the laborer will take care of you and the profit return of investment is gain for the business owner and the laborer.

So many companies ignore the culture in the workspace and think because we pay enough people will stay. Intrinsic motivation will always beat extrinsic in the long run. #culture #motivation #salary #advice #jobsearch

The discourse of the Human Resources department is similar to that expressed from a religious pulpit, your salary should not be seen as if it were a cult or a religious faith. Many motivators tell you to have faith, but Hebrews 11.1 says, and I quote: "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." I close the quote. The salary does not come from faith, many business performances are very tight and have no room to increase compensation, if they tell you to strive for better pay, the reality is that your position is adjusted to the parameters of corporate performance and if you get $20.00 per hour, no matter how hard you try you won't get $30.00 the economy doesn't work this way. If you are paid $20.00 an hour, and you have been in the position for 10 years and a rookie is offered $30.00 an hour, it is not that he is more valuable than you, it is that the Human Resources department has made it impossible to hire for $20.00 an hour and offers $30.00 to fill some hard-to-recruit positions. Do not have faith in the promise of a man, apply for another job in a similar position and there will be desperate employers who will give you $30.00 an hour, faith is only for the creator, for God it is not to be used in the labor market. #jobsearch #advice #interview #hr #salary #wordsofadvice

I now left an interview and I believe it went well. The person who interviewed me said he would forward my information to the compensation team. He asked how much was I getting paid at my last job, I told him what my salary was and he replied with, “I suggest you go higher when asked by the compensation team”. Does that mean I might be hired and how much higher should I go? My last job I had a salary of 62k. Any suggestions on how much higher I should say where it may not prevent me from getting the job? #interview #salary
