I've been looking for work for 4 months, and I've had a few interviews that went (I thought) pretty well, but that was then end of that. Yesterday afternoon I was asked to return for the second level interview today. Now, I'm nervous. Didn't sleep well and part of me wants to cancel...I wasn't afraid for the first interview, but I'm having to focus on my breathing right now. -background: I'm 60, been around the block a few times and have always been successful. The first interview was with the technical people (IT), this one is (so I was told) more of a schmooze session for customer (internal) groups to see if they think I can be worked with. Wish me luck...

#adviceneeded #interview #shadowing #secondinterview #advice I'm a Certified Medical Assistant that has been actively looking for a job. I've been on 4 unsuccessful interviews , and was pretty down on myself. Things might be looking up though because I had my first interview with this place I'd love to work for last month, and was called back in for a second interview a few days ago. The interview went great, met the physician/surgeon, and staff. I Was told to come back next Thursday to shadow. I Sent a thank you letter to which the office manager promptly replied, "can't wait for next Thursday too." My question is , is it common to get the job after you've been invited to shadow? Or should I not get my hopes up again? Experiences or advice would be great.
