Something I did that was great working for Hotel Nikko was getting to work with other peers, getting to learn how to cook & or getting to clean, cut fruits & vegetables in the workplace, learning Health & Protection against food in the kitchen. And how to keep them safe away from cleaning chemicals. How to do things in the kitchen, when & what time you should be at work! Getting to clock out to go home after a long hard day of working.

My experience at Genworth was great during my role as an annuity claims examiner...great team some nuances that are typical of a small town...yet there was room for growth opportunity due to the diverse group of managers that relocated from other towns. I wish that things had opened up for my daughter and I as opposed to being told that I'm too progressive for this town...they might be right. Overall it was a great company enjoyed Kings Dominion and the initial love shown to a mom with a toddler.

I was flaged down one morning on my way to work, by the way I was existed to get there. I was 45 min early. I was stopped because of a car vs street light, at a very high speed. The man who flagged me down was an X-ray tech. I found out as I handed him a pair of gloves.I reassured him I'd talk him through it. Now this was before cell phones and I needed two ambulances. The mother of the 5 year old was ambulatory. I told her in a gental voice please go up to the house and call 911. While I worked on the child I could tell he was in respiratory arrest, with strong carotid pulse. I could feel it as I held C spine. Keeping the integrity of his C spine, I alined his full spine. In doing so I felt crepitis from his mandable. He still wasn't awake but started cry and in doing so he was releasing the fluid from his mouth. Two ambulances arrived. One with two paramedics. They asked me if I could drive them to the trauma center. I Had about 10 min until I needed to log on. I said," yes" and I log on to there. It's about a 20 min ride with lights and sirens. Both patients made it. And something happened that never is expected in this job. The mother came to fi.d me to thank me. I simply said," you don't need to thank me. You helped the most. You called 911. That was theost important part to getting them here where they need to be.'" Then I thanked her.

DaVita is all about the bottom line. They will go for months without filling an opening because it increases their profit margin. PCT's are given work loads that make a budget but are not managable. So they have the RNs do PCT work to make up the difference and don't leave RNs time to do their own work. There is no budgeted time for admin work so it is supposed to be worked in with patient care. The environment is dog and dog and management looks the other way. It adds up to a bad deal for the employee and the patient.

I really enjoyed working their. I would unload the winshield and put them in the popper slots their belong into. Than in the afternoon pull them so the trucks could deliver them to the right glass stores,
