If you feel like the statement above is true for you, I want to encourage you to water your seed of hope. WAIT WAIT, I'm not encouraging hope in some airy fairy mystical way but as the means to take more power action steps. When you are stuck in the mud you can't just stroll out of the mud you have to explode out of the rut. **Hope /hōp/
- a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen.
Hope can ensure your very next tiny step is successful and thus give you a path toward a new direction. I know you may be in a dark place and maybe 2020 hasn't been your best year, but don't give up. Try this Step 1- Identify a problem you are facing right now. Next think of one action step you can take right now to help "start" to chop down this problem tree. Think of one thing to take action on to put a dent in the problem tree that is shading your view of the bright future. Think about one action step that will no doubt help, remembering it takes many swings to chop a tree down. After you have determined the small action step to take TODAY. Convince yourself it will help a little to solve your problem, just a little. Also convince yourself this action is worth your time. Stay on this step until you have succeeded in convincing yourself. (this could take some time)
After and never before you have achieved step 1 take the action without distraction and with full attention and focus, Step 2. Try to make this an impeccable action step, flawless in how you went about it. Know it is not so much what you do, but how you do it that will make this action successful. If you have completed step 1 and 2 repeat these steps tomorrow.
It is possible your inner vision is overwhelmed with your situation and you can't see outside the circumstance, so If you have no clue what action to take right now, Please use the comments to ask the community "what action would help me in this situation", then decide if some response works for you.

Things don't always go as planned especially when it's a big day! My car started overheating the night before the interview. No way was i going to cancel an #interview as those are few and far between for me. I checked google maps and saw the location is 9 miles away. Luckily for me i still had a bicycle in the garage. I brought a few bottles of water and my interview clothes in a bag so they would not get sweaty. I found a bathroom a couple miles away to change in. The exercise there put me in a good mood, i got to think about what i was going to say and had a good interview. I even shared the experience with the interviewer and i think it showed him i'm not someone to give up when things don't go my way. We talked about mechanics and it lightened up the mood. They called me back for training this time i took the car. I was thinking the bike ride was actually a good thing, i might just ride my bicycle there a couple times a week. #jobsearch #stress #training #transportation #motivation #advice #inspiration #application

So I got hired on at a privately owned exxon on Monday. Today was my first day of doing day shift. Before today I felt somewhat fine about things but after today my God, there's so much to counting down the drawer at closing. They make it to where a certain amount of certain Bill's has to be in the drawer. Today 1 of the girls that has been there for quite some time now showed me and the girl that started today how to close down the lottery. There was so much to it to where she multiplied certain numbers, added certain numbers and I don't know what all. I don't know why it takes me so long to learn things and to get them down and to actually contain things. I feel like I'm not containing them fast enough. I feel like I'm just waiting to be told I'm fired. I don't know what to do. I'm recently separated and I need a way to do things for myself and for my son. I completely relied on him and was a stay at home mom and house wife. I feel like maybe I'm just not a worker and like it's just too late to get good work ethics. Me and my son has been staying with my parents for the last 3 years since my husband hasn't had a home for us. I guess I was waiting for him to come to his senses and hoping things would go back to how they had been. I just don't know #stress #worry #overthinking #notcontaing
@Keisha Hedgespeth have you tried calling back their hotline for any issues that you have with the benefits? Another possible avenue is contacting your local state representative for help in the matter. Are you also actively looking for a job right now too?
