
I got hired at a store deli at the beginning of the month and had the bare minimum training. The deli manager was so unorganized and very toxic. She cussed all the time and and when i asked a simple question with the up most respect she cursed me out infront of a customer that i was assisting. Not only that when i closed with the cook, he was too high to function and I did most of his closing duties. I dreaded coming in for the next few days til i made the decision to quit which was 4 weeks later. When i brought up my decision to the store manager he begged me to stay, but I value my mental health too much to be disrespected. Not only that, my pay wasn't right. I would calculate my hours before and after taxes. Many people say that I was wrong for doing that but in my heart I know I did the right thing.

When I first came down to interview for the warehouse job he informed me how chaotic it was here how understaffed they were and how out of space they were.
