I think it's unfair for the employer or business to put people through hopes of getting a good job and maybe fair pay ( carrot on a stick ) and at the end of 3 grueling interviews, And possibly a written exam to find out that the pay and benefits are way less than what you Deem As acceptable I think it would be just fair and upfront to say what they are That way would actually save the employer and the Is possible future employee time and money #whatdoyouthink

My brother just brought this up with me, he got to the 3rd interview for a job he really liked, but then found out the salary was super low, with poor benefits.

Everyone has a minimum in mind when applying for jobs, and it just saves everyone time in applications. And it seems there's a growing number of people who are frustrated with job listings not including the salary range.

Do you think it's possible for pay info to be upfront? #watercooler #jobsearch #WhatDoYouThink

Target is taking a big step this year by permanently closing their stories on Turkey Day.

Should more companies do this for the benefit of their employees? #worklifebalance #WhatDoYOUthink?

I love that Target does that. But every business cannot close - like hospitals, pharmacies, gas stations and so on, because people need to be able to access their goods/services.

In the retail environment it makes no sense to open on certain holidays when historical sales don't justify employee expense.

It is both. Overtime when handled correctly can be a blessing. But people have gotten so used to overtime they take it for granted and then in walks upper management who removes OT and just like that bankruptcy cases ensue
