I am looking for a job can you help?
I always negotiate job offers and have always gotten what I asked for. My only regret is not shooting higher.
I had a job interview with a employer and job was starting out at $25 an hr and I gave the company my start date after he told me I had the job. 1 week went by I called employer and told him I couldn't take the job because of the pay. He came back and offered me $5.00 more dollars on the hr and of course I accepted and started a week later

Continue working hard showcasing your unique talents and work ethics
I come from a generation that if you are conscious, you can work. It was considered to have a strong work ethic. A culture of tough it out. Where the perception of taking a sick day was a sign of weakness or a lack of dedication to the job, humans are creatures of habit. We got our comfort from a familiar way of thinking and our routine. The fact of the matter if baby Boomers like myself are honest. When faced with change it makes us uncertain, anxious, and overwhelmed. I'm blessed to have an open mind to learn. If you teach you should be teachable. I have done a reverse mentorship with my Millennial teams and learned from each other. I know that change will happen and that the workplace is no exception. It can be challenging enough even if everyone is from the same generation. Ignoring our differences will not make it go away. So here is to the Millenials who have allowed me to learn from them and what's important to them in the workplace. I had to ask my oldest son "What is a PTO day." LOL

You were lucky. You just got transferred. The same thing happened to me but it lead to a termination for me. Although they wouldn't admit it l know it was for complaining about discrimination.
