With the pandemic affecting work and the economy in so many ways, one thing I miss is the ability to go out for lunch occasionally.
I was fortunate to be able to work in area of Boston that was overflowing with great lunch options from the North End.
What I miss most is heading over to Bricco Salumeria in the ally for their Porchetta sandwich.

I've recently found Work Tik Tok. A stream of content created by workers around the world posting their skills on the popular platform. I love it as it gives you a real life look at what it's like working at these different places. One of my favorites is this one by a Cold Stone Creamery employee who posts his cake decorating videos. Care to guess how many followers he currently has on the platform? You're not going to believe the number.

My employer...Albany Democrat Herald (a newspaper business in Albany, Oregon) fired me when the supervisor overheard me mention that believed I contracted the Coronavirus while I was in prison late last year. I stayed positive and motivated at my job by monitoring batch processes for errors and determining the cause of these errors. Then I took steps to fix the errors, document the fixes and share the fixes with the appropriate team that was running the batch processes. #motivation #worklife
