So I have an appointment time of 4pm for my interview... How long should I wait before assuming it won't be happening?

2 senerios in the last week: #1... Phone interview scheduled for 1:45pm... Checked email, they were to Call Me. I waited, thinking they got hung up on a long call before me, or got busy, I waited. 2pm came and went and I got No phone call. I proceeded to email back the email I received "as a reminder" 2 hours prior to appt time. I have been ghosted and have not received a phone call or follow up email.

#2... Interview time 3ppm. I got there early as I was unsure where to go and didn't want to be late. I sat in an empty office and was able to here the interview mapping before mine. They were running behind. I sat and waited patiently for my turn. At 3:12pm I was called back for my interview. As I was being walked out after the appt, I was told that "that was an awesome interview..." I went to my car, and today received an offer from them.

But HOW LONG DO WE WAIT?

I got a great job as far as pay goes for a 64 year old. In sales and I brought with me one big conglomerate that blew up and was about to be that one job for retirement that I have been looking for since I started working. Well my National Sales boss took my accounts #1 guy to the Superbowl in LA at last minute. In a Sophie Stadium Luxury Booth! My buddy called me all excited about going 3 days before Superbowl...and at that moment I knew I was gone! Multi Million Dollar account and they forgot to tell me they were taking my account to Superbowl? With hind sight I should have called an Employment attorney as soon as my buddy told me he was going! They were asking my buddy if he would stay with them without me! Well is he going to say no after they drop 20k on him at Sophie Stadium?

It was the best freshman year ever. #1 in the country of community Colleges's #1

#aboutmyjob WIS formally known as RGIS is the most trash company to work for. You are given next to NO training. Whenever you do something you're wrong even if doing it the way you where showed. You only get 2 days a week there is NEVER hours to pick up as they claim. Then NONE of the area managers pick up the phone so you can call in if needed. Well some months ago fed up with a search for work in California for over a year in the work at home arena I voiced my frustration about the new job sites and what they moonlight as while not intending any work and one i listed was Aston Carter-They took my application live scanned me I purchased what i needed to be operationally fit for the job and then my prints took along with so many others in a batch just months to come back bless the reps heart she had someone call me day before easter to give the good news and ASTON CARTER IS GOOD NEWS AND HALLELUJAH WORD OF GOD. watch out for those other ones and jobcase lol you know about how i feel about you and where suddenly came from one day with the insistent comments post lol HEY HERES A REAL AGENCY GIVING REAL JOBS AT HOME OR WHAT YOU LIKE. peace n love yall im deleting this account now again cause honey no but no lolol thanks Aston Carter #1 Employment Agency 2022 -HM

I am trying to become a children's author. I write well and have a knack for making up stories. I use my imagination. I checked out these children's books written by Dr. Seuss from the library. I found them to be interesting. Dr. Seuss was the #1 children's author in the U.S. for a long time. Dr. Seuss was number one in the kid-lit canon. I think word got out that he was racist.

Ive been with this company for about 5 months now. When interviewed I was assured that it was a laid back company easy going job and was hired but upon starting i was put in a different position than what i was initially hired for and thats where the issues begin. My 1st week there the employee training me tells me that shes NOT going to train me because upper management wouldnt be able to move her if i didnt know anything (red flag #1)...so thankfully the other 2 employees taught me enough to get by but i was never properly trained in doing MY job. A couple months went by of me basically being the "trainers" do girl and doing the hard jobs so she could sit at the desk and LOOK busy and the company started moving people around to different areas of the plant. The "trainer" was in fact moved anyway one of the others who did teach me SOME things quit and upper managent left me ALONE in a position i didnt know how to do...even after begging them not to they left me to simply sink or swim. Suprisingly I actually did ok but ended up getting sick and was out for a couple days with a drs note and upon my return my position was stripped from me and given back to the original "trainer" and i was back to being the "do girl" and the one doing the hard jobs thay she didnt wanna do. Ive went to my supervisor multiple times and nothing gets done. While i was alone i begged for help and overtime so i could get caught up and stay that way but got NoTHiNG. Today was really busy but instead of me being allowed to help i ended up going to get this and that running here or there while she took it upon herself to do everything well because she chose that and got busy soooo many people came to help her even people from the office (plant manager supervisor amd even the lady who does sales and schedules the pickups and deliveries). That hit pretty hard being i was never good enough to be helped and especially because she was able to get by with purposefully not training me and making me her do girl instead of me being allowed to do my job that i was hired to do. Im really debating on not even going back since i cant get any help from uppermanagement in fixing the issues thats going on but i honestly dont know whats best for me to do at this point. Please help
