For more than 100 years, the Forest Service has brought people and communities together to answer the call of conservation.

Through campground hosting, trail maintenance, visitor services, research and more, volunteers make significant contributions to the legacy of conservation for future generations.

Volunteering provides great opportunities to:

  • Help improve forests and grasslands
  • Learn more about natural and cultural resources
  • Meet new people and form valuable connections
  • Get involved as a citizen steward

How to volunteer?

  • Contact your local forest or grassland, or Forest Service Regional Liaison
  • Search for partner organizations who work on forests or grasslands
  • Find all the latest information at US Forestry Service Volunteer Opportunities

I personally don't have experience at #FEMA, but others in the community may have. What kind of roles are you looking at? If you fill out your bio and work experience on your profile - the community is here to help with your job search!

My opinion....I've read most of the complaints and topics here about people losing there jobs from covid and then they filed for unemployment, and how they are losing everything. Yes this is very sad, and if I may say our government seems like they have no idea on how to fix this, just like everything else the government handles.(" Ever since the very first day that money took over trade").This country has been in debt.(this is my opinion). I must be fortunate that even though I lost everything too,had to shut down my doors after 30 plus yrs of business. I never once relied on anyone else.no government fund.no unemployment help.even if I didnt have all this stuff I still refuse to ask for help by our government.they havent gotten it right for over 234 yrs so why would it change now. As I said before this is my opinion yours may be different. They say this is the greatest nation in the world..I ask all of you.........."IS IT"....as always stay safe! ....PS BE ON THE LOOK OUT FOR A RELPY TO THIS FROM ME EXPLAINING ANOTHER OPINION.AND THE POINT EVERYONE HAS MISSED. THANK YOU...#coronavirus #advice #government #unemployment #stressful

Are you looking for a job there now? Be sure to check out the job search tool and our getting hired resource center! I would also start by filling out your JC profile and then once you have, select the resume tab and click download and PRESTO you have a pre-generated resume! You will need this when applying : ) Let me know how else I can help!

I make under $50,000 a year, my taxes are done and up to date. And I have been unemployed since March 2020. When I go to the IRS site to check why I have not received any stimulus monies, it says, 1, We don't have enough info yet. 2, You're not eligible. It does not say why this is the case. How or who do we go to for this? #stimuluscheck #coronavirus #government
