This site was created for people to share their job/work-related experiences. Some are good; some are not. It's disturbing when some people choose to make negative, insensitive & downright incendiary comments to people who have lost their job or are looking for help or suggestions. We're all adults. Let's not act childish and immature. Above all before posting a negative comment remember - NONE OF US sit high enough to judge others; because we all have faltered at one time or another in our lives & NO ONE IS PERFECT. Please stop with the negative, hurtful, cruel comments. If you can't say something nice, good, constructive or helpful - DON'T SAY ANYTHING AT ALL! #motivation #inspiration #wordsofadvice

I'm telling you the truth...
People become stuck in life for many different reasons. However, it's not their fault. No need to play "the blame game."
When people normally feel stuck in life they may say things like...
OLD POINTS: (1) I'm scared. (2) I'm too old. (3) I'm not sure. (4) I'm nervous. (5) I didn't know. (6) I failed before. (7) I have no degree. (8) I have a record. (9) I have little experience. (10) What if they say NO?
TURNAROUND POINTS: In 2023, the winds of time will blow harshly with realities of truth. People will be left behind, overlooked, forgotten, misunderstood, not seen, unrecognized, misinterpreted, neglected, and the list goes on...
Don't let that happen to you!
Start prevailing, and stop failing so you can win down the road. Then, everything else will fall-in-place for you.
I Believe You Can...!

There is ALWAYS a Way!
I read a post by Mike Corso where he asked to share stories that inspire us. My mind went right to a painting class I took once for fun. There were people from all walks of life in this class. Some were like me who were there just to pursue a hobby, but others were professional painter honing their skills.
One day I was getting paint from the back room. A person in a wheelchair came in and asked me if I can pour him some paint. He explained he needed help because his legs and arms both don't work. Of course, I was happy to help but very curious to see how he was going to paint.
I peaked out as he setup. When he was ready, he held the paintbrush between his teeth and started to paint! It was quite a sight to see. He made the most incredible paintings. I could tell he has been doing this for awhile. The instructor later told me Jake loved painting, is a professional painter and made his living selling his paintings.
I always think of Jake when I think there is something that I can't do. I think if there is something you want, you just have to work with what you, and figure it out. Thank you Jake...you have been my inspiration.

I believe that if you speak positively to others, the atmosphere is lighthearted and people are kind. #inspiration

There is a stigma of the unknown for the obvious reasons that we are not sure and we do not understand the consequences. Psychology research suggests we generally like to be able to anticipate consequences. That's why the act of falling can be so frightening; we don't know what to expect when we land.
The fear of the unknown can be hard to describe because all the feelings and thoughts around this fear are in our head. These negative feelings and thoughts create mental blocks. It is these mental blocks that influence the way in which we live our life and if let loose can have a detrimental impact on us living our lives to the fullest.
When we choose to live with our fear of the unknown, the choices and decisions we make do not serve us well. Any decision we make based from this fear will not be a decision that will move us forward in life.
“I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.” Nelson Mandela
Living your life to your fullest potential can only be achieved when you have come face to face with your fear of the unknown. But this is not an easy thing to do. It is a bit more complicated than just choosing to ignore your fear of the unknown. To be able to conquer your fear of the unknown, you have to be committed to making the changes within yourself and that is where it gets tough.
There are many layers of emotions that are associated with your fear of the unknown and overcoming this fear requires you to dig deep to find the courage to actually step into the unknown. This is not what your fear of the unknown likes. All those deep-seated limiting beliefs will be resisting and fighting back because your actions will be challenging them and questioning their existence. #wordsofadvice #advice #motivation #inspiration

I'm telling you the truth... (Read Without Procrastination.)
Many people have failed drastically before blinking an eye. Why? They didn't pin-point specific characteristics that exist in special caliber of people.
Don't let this happen to you in 2023.
Characteristics are those "crazy" attributes that distinguish and drives ordinary people to do extraordinary things.
For example, extraordinary people can...
- Visualize the house built, even if it's standing on stilts, in it's infancy stage.
- Feel the sensation, before the project, process and preparation.
- Seize the end results, in lieu of unexpected, and insane insults, from other people.
- Touch the "coat-tail" of expectation, from a "silly" mindset called imagination.
- Declare the plane can fly, without questioning The Wright Brothers reasons or why?
Listen, successful people know, "if they can see it in their mind's eye, they can hold on their hands as it comes to fruition."
Be encouraged to "form your team, to forge your dream" then everything else will fall-in-place for you.

YES, I Have Several Times in my life. I'm there again currently. Hopeless and stuck in a job rut. I admit Divine Intervention seems to call Apon me when I least expect it. That's how it works. Is there a number tally of good deeds that automatically cash in for an intervention of good? In my life I wonder. I know that God protects goofy people, so I am well looked after. The events of my day today were again better than a major network written script! May God Bless All, I give Praise... #jobsearch #advice #inspiration #motivation #wordsofadvice

I'm telling you the truth...(Read Without Fail.)
Listen carefully my friends, because this can change your perspective in life..!
Once a year you have a chance to win the Super Bowl Championship, or you go HOME. Point blank, no questions asked.
So, the ball is on the 1 - yard line, and as it appears, opposition stands in your way. Perhaps, you're more nervous than usual because the coach is telling you..."get the stinken ball across the 1 - yard line so we can win this game." That's it, Just do it. Please..!
Folks, let's agree on one thing: If you can't get the ball across the 1 - yard line, REGARDLESS of the opposition, someone may ask. Do you really know how to play the game?
The same is true when applying for jobs. If you KNOW how to play the game you can easily get the "stinken ball" across the 1 - yard line to win the game, and get the job! Right?
Thousands of people are struggling with...How to apply for jobs? Or simply play the game to win and get the job.
Ask Yourself: 1) Are you a contender or pretender? 2) Are you competing or completing? 3) Are you betting or are you setting... things in-place? 4) Are you playing the game or changing the game.
Winning the Super Bowl Championship happens once a year, NOT twice. Likewise, getting that job you may only get one hike as well.

Thanks everyone for your ideas and support. I appreciate all the information and it is a hard time for alot of people. I had injections in my neck yesterday. Feeling the difference but how long will it last. I have ideas and I have business license for a mobile wash and detail business. I just have not had any luck getting a loan to start my business. I have experience working in wash and detail and I wanted to get it started and eventually get someone to work for me and I could make it grow. I got business plan and my website idea already but not able to find a loan company anywhere to help me.
I would find a good lawyer
