What are your happy thoughts to make through a tough moment at work?
We all have days full of anxiety and stress not just on the Halloween. My last job was so stressful that I often time hid the bathroom and just stared at happy family photos on my phone to get through the day. What are your mental treats to battle a tricky work day?
- ❤️ picture of my pets, family, kids to remind myself what's more important in my life
- 💯 my bucket list (vacation destination, dream home, car etc.) of what I want to accomplish by saving up my hard-earned money
- 👏 my guilty pleasure of favorite food, shopping, TV to watch afterwork to get past this dreadful day

What do you do after making a mistake?
We're all human! Mistakes happen all the time, but the most important thing is how to you process it and move forward. I still remember when I started my first job and I had so many sleepless nights repeating certain mistakes in my head and blaming myself. This happens often too when I was applying to jobs and worrying about every potential errors in my resume, emails and interviews.
So, what do you usually do after making a mistake?
- 🤔 repeating in my head and beat myself to it
- 😮 feeling self conscious and apologizing nonstop
- ❤️ taking a step back to reflect on the factors I can and cannot control and cut myself some slack
- 💯 coming up with solutions so it will not happen again
To share my personal experience, I have gone through ALL OF THE ABOVE! But I also learned overtime that I'll spend A LOT less time on the first two steps, and focus more on the last two. Mistakes can be hard to swallow but it's up to us to really OWN, DIGEST and IMPROVE upon ourselves.

HAPPY FRIDAY!!! We made it for another week and it's 6 weeks away til Thanksgiving and 13 weeks til Christmas (I'm not counting, you're counting lol)
After a long week of hard work, what is your favorite comfort food to nourish yourself?
- ❤️ A nice home cook meal
- 👏 Going out with friends or coworkers
- 💯 Treat yourself with some fine desserts (cakes, ice cream, pie, count me in!)

I was just thinking that there are years I go without using all my vacation and sick time. It's important to do so though, to do a better job we need to recharge.
