My pua benefits exhausted about 2 months ago will I get the extension #pua
I lost my pua on December 26 th and my balance was also at zero on the 26th of dec. I called the pua hotline and they couldn’t tell me anything. Do I need to refile because my balance was at zero, I have not exhausted my weeks tho I think I’m ok on the extension wich will take me to my max. Any help is appreciated please #pua #advice Pennsylvania
So..........after appealing my case 2 times for PUA and contacting my state senator for help I thought things were going to change for the better. I was approved for a months worth of PUA and I've been jobless for over 6 months. The judge claimed that I should've/could've stayed at the job that was treating me like a worthless pos because covid didn't effect me directly, just my job position that I worked so hard for. In the meantime everything currency related (utility bills/ rent/bank account) is going into collections because Iowa Workforce can't pin a date to when I'll be recieveing my payments. So I'm stumped on how I'll recieve anything without a bank. I believe this was a ploy to further dive me into depression 😔
Listen for new Stimulus package they are working on passing this Friday, 12/18. They may extend Pandemic UI. If not, you have the option of the EB (extended benefits extension) from your State. Look up the % thresh hold for your particular State to see if you qualify.
Hi, Rory, Did you have to respond to UIA for the reason why you were exited? You need to respond that you Performed the Job to the Best of your Ability; and that you were given no previous warnings (if they did not give you any). Those are two things you should stress in your answer to UIA. You are supposed to be given previous coaching if it was your performance and a chance to improve. Ensure UIA that you did the job to the best of your ability and would have gladly workd thigs out, if given a chance.
I have a very important question has anyone else Not gotten paid for the PUAI live in West Virginia I filed for PUA back in Jula I got it July 29th that's when my back pay was supposed to be paid never received any of the bank pay even though the website says I did I have called numerous times I cannot get ahold of me buying in when I do they just say they will call me back never do I didn't receive my back pay I got paid for 4 weeks after the 29th then it quit for 10 weeks then Den I got one big grandson for $4420 in some of them was partial payments then stopped again it's been about 13 weeks with no payment What soever Me and my family struggling I really need that money I don't know what to do if anyone has any suggestions volleyers please help me Who suggestions when they really appreciate it thank you for your time.. #pua
I'm in the same situation as you. I have never received my back pay but I keep getting emails stating that my pua benefits end this month. I haven't received any money at all period.
Sparks NV I applied back in September 2020 and I am so stressed can't pay bills bank account in the negative and behind on rent. I know others applied last year and haven't received a payment yet.

SO LAST YEAR I STARTED MY OWN CHILD CARE BUSINESS. I HIRED MY DAUGHTER AS MY HELPER . DIDNT KNOW WHAT 2020 WAS ABOUT TO BRING. WELL IN MARCH THIS YEAR I HAD TO CLOSE MY BUSINESS DUE TO COVID19. I APPLIED FOR PUA AND GOT APPROVED. WELL I FOUND OUT IN AUGUST THAT BECAUSE OF THE CARES ACT MY DAUGHTER COULD APPLY. SO SHE DID. WELL ON THE 27TH OF OCTOBER SHE WAS DENIED. DES SAID IT WAS BECAUSE SHE DIDNT LOSE HER JOB DUE TO COVID19. BUT IF THE BUSINESS CLOSED DUE TO COVID19 HOW IS THAT NOT LOSING IT DUE TO COVID19????? WE ARE APPEALING IT NOW. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY INSITE ON THIS? #benefits
How did find out the mistake you made?
@Keisha Hedgespeth have you tried calling back their hotline for any issues that you have with the benefits? Another possible avenue is contacting your local state representative for help in the matter. Are you also actively looking for a job right now too?
