@Cierra Woodson I am not sure about overseas jobs, but you can find useful information at the Remote Work Resource Center for remote positions.

Anyone have or know of any work from home positions available look me up. Legitimate work only. To all the scammers out there, you're wasting your time and effort with me. I'm nit new to this. I want to work and get paid. If any companies are interested in a loyal person with superior work ethic, get in touch. Thanks in advance and have a great evening. #remote #workfromhome

Ideally, I would like to work in a hybrid mode. Now I am looking for my next job but I need to move to another state in the summer so remote is the ideal way to go now. Very interesting your POV, @Amanda Garcia and completely agree remote work may not be a fit for everybody!

I love working remotely. I use all the tools in my arsenal, telephone, internet, video chat and text messaging. I am able to stay connected to all projects I am associated with and/or I am interested in. I think that a remote worker must be disciplined and have an internal drive that makes them want to excel. I also travel when necessary to the work site. Most of the work sites are 10+ hours away.

How to stay positive job searching after 50

I keep these Beautiful lyrics from Carole King's in my mind often:

You've got to get up every morning with a smile on your face. And show the world all the love in your heart. Then people gonna treat you better...😊

Believe in yourself and what you have to offer. Start by asking "What am I passionate about?'' Also ask yourself what do I really want from a job, what are your needs, skills and values. It's' all about knowing that you're really good at something and then being able to market yourself based on that --articulate telling hiring managers about the results your strengths and skills.

Run with a good crowd, as you looking for work. A crowd of good supporters, seek out positive role models in their 50s, 60s and 70s who are working and productive. They are the best inspirational mentors.

Lastly look for a job-search buddy who is also trying to find work. Then keep each other optimistic and confident. Practice, for example telling each other sales story to one another, so you're prepared to sell yourself in an interview. YOU GOT THIS! 👍

Customer Service educate customers without selling

One of my favorite parts of working in customer service was being in a position where I could teach a customer something about the product without having to sell them on the solution.

Staying Positive After Rejection

Remember not to take it personally. Any rejection is not a reflection of who you are. With my experience keeping in touch with hiring manager's that I interview with did benefit me. I was called back for an interview a few months later. So you never know what will happen.

So Keep Going. Here are some tips that will help you stay positive when you keep getting rejected from jobs?

👏Focus on your strengths

👏Ask for feedback

👏Search for Hiring Events in your city

👏Take a break for a few days. Do something that you like.
