I started my 3rd job at Dollar Tree earlier this month & I wanted to be a stocker, but I was on register most of the time. So my first three days were good, like, when my shift was over, me & a closing manager would count my draw using this machine that counts it for you. I had my first write-up last Tuesday because my draw was like $12. 00 short. Had 2 more, last night and tonight. The closing manager told me it seems like Idk how to handle money. So when my mom picked me up, I told her what happened and she wasn't even mad. While we was driving home, I cried about it and she patted my knee and said I'll be alright, God got something better for me, you know just trying to make me feel better. I'm okay now after crying about what happened tonight because I never been terminated from a job before. I don't usually do fired, but Lord knows I tried my best not to let that happen. So I see that a cashier job is not meant for me. I may be jobless now, but I refuse to give up. Right now, I'm looking for a job where I don't have to cook food or do register (Wendy's was my 1st job at age 19) Just a job that's more calmer and less stressful. I'm interested in either being a receptionist, library assistant, or model lol. But I haven't had job experience in these. I heard being a receptionist is just answering the phone and I figured that shouldn't be hard so I might try that. I just want to be a happy working woman again #Termination #Unfair #NeedABetterJob

Hi everybody, I just have some questions regarding my new manager making me only work 4 days a week, when in my schedule it’s supposed to be 5 days... he would give me lots of work to finish for four days, which means I get overtime because of that.. I am also given more extra work than my coworkers which only do light jobs in the laboratory but as for me before doing those light jobs I have to some heavy equipment stuff but he keeps comparing me to them. I don’t complain to him about the workload or how heavy the stuffs are but he gets on my nerves when he complains about me getting overtime.. when in fact I got hired by the old manager and the director that the employee they’re seeking will be sure not just finish 8 hours a day but more and I accepted the offer .... but now the new manager is giving me the same workload and then when I’m pass my 40 hour schedule he gives me an unscheduled day off... Is my right as an employee being violated??

Is it fair to get a call from your job on Christmas day and get accused of not showing up for work so that automatically calls for termination and the sad part is that I only missed about 3 days during the 21 months I worked and that was from being sick made up most days, overtime, supervisor get sick I was the one in position on his shift and mine, Lord knows I've done no wrong but to get fired with a phone call was very hurtful especially on Christmas! I Pray and leave in God hands! Love!

Hardest working shift leader and treated me unfairly.

I also just want to gripe. I was hired by the United States post office, I jumped through all their hoops told I was hired. I had to take a driving test, eye test and written driving test like your getting your drivers license because of my medication. The Postmaster that hired me knew about my prosthetic ankle. i had a meeting about how to accommodate my handicap. This meeting was after three months of jumping through hoops and doing everything they said. Then they said the job had already been filled and anyone with a prosthetic ankle or knee are not able to do this job. The guy that hired me knew i had one, so I do not understand why he hired me.

I felt I was being treated unfairly.
It can be frustrating when you're overlooked for a promotion despite your hard work. Have you had a conversation with your supervisor about your career goals and development path? It's important to communicate your ambitions. You may also want to explore opportunities on Jobcase, LinkedIn, Indeed, and other job search providers to see what other options are available.
