Passion = no money as people will do those jobs for little $$$$. You must do what many can't or wont to make a average living now of days.

So you have everything on your resume that you should have right? What about the things you shouldn’t have on there? 🤔

Check these 4 things out that you need to remove immediately so you can get hired! 👏🏽

📝1.) Your full address! I cannot express this enough that it is not their business. Your full address falls under confidential information.

📝2.) Your personal interest! As much as you care about them, which is okay! It’s a time and a place for everything and your resume is not one of them.

📝3.) Images. 100% not necessary unless required for the application to the position. They can see you when they interview you baby.

📝4.) A job from 10+ years ago. Take er off! Unless that job directly ties to your desired position you don’t need it!

It’s time to get hired at that job you want. It’s yours, go get it and update that resume!!! 📝

Early on in my consulting career, I was eager to show my value and jumped at any opportunity for additional work that I could find. I put as much on my plate as I thought I could handle, thinking it would propel my career and show my managers I was ready for the next level.

But what actually happened is I got burned out, experienced higher levels of stress and anxiety, and eventually my work started to suffer.

When you accept task after task with no sense of priority or timeline, you set yourself up for failure. That's not to say you need to create artificial limits on what you can accomplish, but think through when something needs to get done, and prioritize high value, more immediate tasks first.

To make this reminder stick, and for other quick career tips, be sure to follow me on Tiktok as well

Office managers...thing of the past? What think ye all?

I liked em cuz they triaged work FOR me. 4 bosses would each bring me work and say " do mine first". #work flow, #management, #small office etiquette
