I have over 20 years of experience in Healthcare IT but cannot currently clear Floridaโ€™s clearinghouse for a level 2 background check due to felony drug convictions. Anyone who might have some insight would be greatly appreciated. #remote #workfromhome #jobsearch #fairchance

Carpentry and Nursing are my specialties

It is based out of what ever state you work from on policies when you work remote. As far as felonies I would recommend trying to get it expunged from your record.

I cannot believe it. After submitting countless applications, I'm finally getting an interview next week. It's an admin assistant job that I've been wanting to transition into. I've been at the front desk for so long and really want to step up. But now my insecurity is hitting me and I'm paranoid about addressing the two year gap in my resume when I was in prison. What should I do?

I was happy to finally land an interview that led to an offer at a local warehouse. I was completely honest about my criminal record and the hiring manager told me that it shouldn't be an issue. I filled out the background check info 6 weeks ago and I've not heard back ever since. I tried emailing and calling and no one responded. I was really hoping to land a job before the holiday season but now I need to restart all over again.
