I would apply for the pandemic unemployment not the regular one. If you have reduced hours they will help. Just apply and choose the debit card method

The IRS has published how it plans to pay you #coronavirus 'economic impact' money if you're eligible:

• You will get paid economic impact money by direct deposit if you have filed 2019 (or 2018) taxes and provided the IRS your bank account info

• If you have filed your 2019 (or 2018) tax return, but the IRS does NOT have your bank account info, go to the IRS: Get My Payment to update your information

• If you are not typically required to file a tax return (low income, veterans, disability, etc.) go to the IRS: Non-filers enter payment info here so you can get paid!

This money is vital for so many of us - so I'll do my best to share updates as I hear about them.

While hundreds of thousands of Americans find themselves laid off, or out of a job entirely, because of the coronavirus crisis, a growing number of large companies have seen a spike in business and are bringing on hundreds of thousands of additional or temporary workers.

Companies from CVS Health and Walgreens to Amazon, pizza chains and grocery stores need warehouse workers, stockers, delivery drivers and even managers.

Amazon alone has said it needs 100,000 additional workers for its warehouses and fulfillment centers. CVS has said it will bring on 50,000 additional workers.

Locally, both Marriott International and Hilton Hotels are working with several retail and service partners to find jobs for their laid off and furloughed employees.

Does anyone know if those of us who were already on unemployment before the pandemic will qualify for the $600 more a week? I filed 2/4 and am wondering if I would get the $600 extra? (Assuming it passes) #coronavirus #unemployment
