Must Read Without Failure!

"Getting promoting ahead of others is not a practice, or a process, it's a principle. As the principle is developed, it becomes a perpetual process to practice." -Edward Alexander

When someone genuinely feels they can trust you, they'll share exclusive information only with you. That's how people grow from "clerk to CEO" in record time.

TRUST...

I Believe You Can...!

After serving in the army for several years, Chance was discharged and returned home, eager to start his civilian life. He quickly realized that finding a job was not as easy as he thought it would be. Despite having valuable skills acquired in the military, he struggled to find an employer who recognized his worth.

One day, Chance saw a job listing for a security position at a local bank. The job required someone with a strong attention to detail, the ability to stay alert for long periods, and someone who could handle stressful situations. Chance immediately knew that his military training had prepared him perfectly for this job, so he applied.

During his interview, Chance shared his experience and training in the army, highlighting his ability to stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and his attention to detail. The bank was impressed with his background and offered him the job.

On his first day at work, Chance found himself in a high-pressure situation when he noticed someone acting suspiciously in the bank. He immediately sprang into action, following his military training to assess the situation and communicate with his team effectively. His instincts and training helped him prevent a potential robbery, and the bank management praised him for his quick thinking and professionalism.

From then on, Chance’s military training continued to serve him well in his new civilian job. He approached his work with the same discipline, focus, and dedication that he had in the military. He always kept his cool under pressure, was vigilant, and communicated effectively with his team.

Chance’s performance at work caught the attention of his superiors, and he was quickly promoted to a management position. He continued to use his skills and training from the military to excel in his job, always striving to be the best he could be.

In the end, Chance proved that his military experience was not just a part of his past but an essential part of who he was. By using the skills he learned in the military, he was able to succeed in his civilian job and create a bright future for himself.

You can also use “Organized” Team Player” Self Motivated” Back of House” attention to detail, which are great examples. Any Banquet Hall experience or Short Order and Expediter experience is a great addition.

Here are 5 tips for using a job board effectively to find job opportunities (and by the way, Jobcase is a job board):

  1. Create a professional profile: Make sure that your profile accurately reflects your skills, experience, and qualifications. This will make it easier for employers to find you and assess your suitability for the role.

  2. Use keywords: Many job boards allow you to search for jobs using keywords. Make sure to use relevant keywords in your search to find job postings that match your skills and interests.

  3. Customize your search: Use the filters and customization options available on the job board to narrow your search to only the jobs that are most relevant to you.

  4. Apply selectively: Don't apply for every job that you come across. Instead, focus on the jobs that you are most qualified for and that you are most interested in.

  5. Follow up: After applying for a job, it's important to follow up with the employer to ensure that your application has been received and to express your continued interest in the role.

By following these tips, you can increase your chances of finding the right job opportunity through Jobcase or any other job board.

Retail Fitting Room

Confession of an fitting room attendant. Yes I have to stand during my entire shift. It's boring during the week. However the weekends, it's crazy busy instead of being boring.

I use to here this quite often from my fitting room attendant. During slow times, there's plenty to do.

  1. Sanitize the fitting room.

  2. Clean Mirrors.

  3. Vacum.

  4. Unload a box of shipment from the stock room.

So many benefits working in the fitting.

  1. Develop customer skills.

  2. Develop organizational skills.

  3. Get to know trends knowledge of fashion.
