Humility is a quality that is often misunderstood in our society. Some people may view it as a sign of weakness or lack of confidence, but in reality, humility is a powerful and valuable trait that can bring about numerous benefits.
At its core, humility is about recognizing our own limitations and imperfections. It is the ability to acknowledge that we don't know everything and that there is always room for growth and improvement. Humility allows us to approach situations with an open mind and a willingness to learn from others.
One of the most significant benefits of humility is that it can help us build stronger relationships with others. When we are humble, we are more approachable and less intimidating to those around us. We are also more likely to listen to and consider the opinions of others, which can lead to greater collaboration and teamwork.
Humility can also help us develop a greater sense of empathy and compassion for others. When we recognize our own flaws and shortcomings, we are more likely to extend grace and understanding to those who may be struggling or facing challenges of their own. This can lead to more meaningful and fulfilling relationships, both personally and professionally.
Another benefit of humility is that it can help us become better leaders. When we are humble, we are more likely to seek out the opinions and feedback of those around us, rather than assuming that we have all the answers. This can lead to more effective decision-making and a more engaged and motivated team.
Of course, developing humility is not always easy. It requires us to let go of our ego and be willing to accept feedback and criticism. It also requires us to be honest with ourselves about our own strengths and weaknesses.
However, with practice and mindfulness, we can all work towards developing greater humility in our lives. By doing so, we can create more meaningful relationships, become better leaders, and ultimately lead more fulfilling lives. #motivation #humility

I would love to return to healthcare, it's my passion to help people. However, it's unrelenting to the mistakes I've made; as it should be. No, not drug related and not job related mistakes. Still, legal issues. After 9 years, my career as a nurse is still paying for them. That's OK. My relationship with my family is stronger than ever so it was worth it. I'm currently seeking employment in-food service, dishwashing, and laundry attendant. When it's right, my privilege to work in healthcare will present itself. Thanks to my followers and all comments received. #jobsearch #wordsofadvice #advice #healthcare #motivation #humility #unemployment

My children have never once doubted that they would be free to choose the life they wish to lead. To speak their minds. To pursue life, liberty, and happiness. This freedom was hard-fought and extracted a high price.
I am in awe of those who volunteered to answer the call to arms. I am appreciative of all who fought and humbled by those that made the ultimate sacrifice. I am profoundly saddened that the loss and sacrifice continue to be carried every day by their loved ones.
Thank you seems so insufficient, and yet those are the words that rise up. Thank you. Thank you for my freedom and my children's carefree expectation that this has always been so and will always be.
And lets all of us strive to do what we can to support their families in every way we can. Our veterans and their families don't just deserve this, they have earned it. And no-one more so than the loved ones who mourn the sacrifices of our fallen heroes every day. Lets not just commit to memorial day, but memorial year.
God bless you all.
God bless America.
and thank you. #veterans, #memorialDay #gratitude #humility
