@Bill Branstetter I’ve personally never landed a job by networking. I’m always looking for opportunities so I tend to identify them and go after them until I capture the opportunity. I like to keep the “Red Car Theory” in back of my mind on a daily basis. Networking could be beneficial for some if you have the right connections.

If you're going to rebuild your life, the journey begins right now!

Good morning everyone... !MUST READ!

My friends listen carefully, each morning you wake-up is not a gimme, given or gimmick. Rather, it's a invaluable and immovable "GIFT" called life.

Therefore, how you get it, give it, and live it, determines what you'll receive in return from life.

This is the "oracles" of life which cannot be changed at-will. Each decision you make creates the reality in which you live, thus, impacting your life and family as well.

Principle No. 1. THINKETH: So, as a man or woman thinketh, so she or he is or eventually becomes in the grand scheme of life.

Decide today to move forward on this journey called LIFE.

I Believe You Can...!

My Job Searching Journey: Navigating the Ups and Downs

Hey community! 👋 Today, I wanted to share with you my experience navigating the highs and lows of job searching. Job hunting can be a rollercoaster ride filled with excitement, frustration, hope, and anxiety. Here are a few insights from my journey that I hope will resonate with some of you:

  1. Stay Positive: Job searching can be challenging, but maintaining a positive attitude is crucial. Rejections are part of the process, and they can lead you to the right opportunity.

  2. Networking is Key: Networking played a significant role in my job search. Reach out to connections, attend events, and engage with professionals in your field. You never know where a conversation may lead!

  3. Tailor Your Applications: Sending out generic applications may not yield the best results. Tailor your resume and cover letter to each job you apply for to showcase how your skills align with the role.

  4. Practice Patience: Landing the right job takes time. Don't get disheartened by delays or rejections. Keep refining your approach and stay persistent.

  5. Upskill Yourself: Use the job search period to upskill and improve yourself. Take online courses, attend workshops, or work on personal projects to enhance your skill set.

Remember, you're not alone in this journey. Lean on your support system, stay focused on your goals, and keep pushing forward. The right opportunity is out there waiting for you!

** Unlocking Career Success Through Community Service: How Giving Back Can Lead to Rewarding Careers**

In the competitive landscape of job hunting, aspiring professionals often find themselves tirelessly searching for ways to stand out from the crowd. While polishing resumes and honing skills are essential, there is a lesser-known secret to unlocking career success: community service. Engaging in volunteer work while searching for employment not only benefits those in need but also has the power to shape a rewarding career path.

Community service offers a unique opportunity for individuals to develop essential skills and qualities that are highly valued in the workplace. Through volunteering, one can enhance their communication, leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities - all of which are key attributes sought after by employers across various industries. Additionally, actively participating in community service demonstrates a strong work ethic, passion for making a difference, and a commitment to personal growth and development.

Moreover, engaging in volunteer work provides individuals with the chance to expand their professional networks and connect with like-minded individuals who share similar values and interests. These connections can lead to valuable mentorship opportunities, job referrals, and even potential career prospects. Building a strong network through community service can open doors to hidden job opportunities and help individuals navigate their way to a fulfilling career path.

Furthermore, showcasing volunteer experience on a resume can set job seekers apart from other candidates and demonstrate a well-rounded background that goes beyond technical skills. Employers are increasingly recognizing the importance of social responsibility and community engagement, making volunteer work a valuable asset that can make a candidate more desirable in the eyes of hiring managers.

In conclusion, incorporating community service into your job search strategy can lead to not only personal fulfillment but also pave the way for a rewarding career. By giving back to the community, individuals can develop essential skills, expand their professional network, and differentiate themselves in a competitive job market. So, next time you're on the job hunt, consider dedicating some time to community service - it may just be the key to unlocking your path to career success.

Many people fail to live the fullness of their lives, because they embrace other people's opinions more than they value their own expertise and judgment.

Sad, however, very much true!

I "double + double" dare you to...don't let this happen to you. This can cause lasting changes.

Live your best life on your terms and be happy. Okay? Guess what? They will criticize you in either way you go!

I Believe You Can...!

I know you've heard it said, it's not what you know but who you know. Well, it's true. Everyone knows someone who knows someone who could help in your job search. Look through your contacts, see who you haven't contacted in a while, and reach out. Ask what they're doing and let them know you're in the market. Also, try to add value, offer something they may be interested in, an article, information, news, etc... True networking is not just a list of names, you need to be active! #networking
